We stayed in the Cholla room which was very nice. I liked the private parking and easy access to our room. Outstanding views of the surround desert. Loved all the large windows and garden areas. Overall a very pleasant experience. Comfortable bed and nice cool air conditioner.

The detached bathroom door was located at the entrance of a communal kitchen. This is not very desirable. Maybe placing a door to separate the kitchen area from the hall containing the bathroom and Cholla room would go along way to avoid embarrassing situations and reduce noise coming from the kitchen into the Cholla room.

The JTH Tucson is an incredible setting, with every area perfectly curated for comfort, from temperature to music playing softly in the main lounge area. There are many outdoor and indoor areas to sit to relax, it was never an issue with other guests, plenty of options. The flowers in may were spectacular and better on the JTH grounds than what we saw on our walks in the Saguaro National Park. We were in the Agave suite which had a great balcony and outlook towards the sunset. The pool and hot spring was fabulous, though the pool was a little cold for us for more than a quick dip - we enjoyed the hot spring daily though.

There was nothing that we didn't like - other than not staying longer. We had 4 nights and could easily have stayed a few more days. It is hard to balance time in the national parks as well as having time to relax onsite.

I didn't eat the 'breakfast' - don't eat sweet granola. Good AC/Heat, good bedding and towels, good coffee in the kitchen. Courtney helped me about activities and orientation which was great - but I didn't realize there was so much on something she sent via dropbox that I never saw until I got home. Wifi was good and reliable. Kitchen ice maker was wonderful, room refrigerators were great.

I would have liked a printed version of the house and property layout, trails around the house (no idea how much time needed to hike), TV use (I don't stream), activities in the area, food options and distances (I'm out in the middle of nowhere and no idea how to get a meal or groceries). Most hotels have an information book available in the room. I had to bother Courtney, which she was more than gracious to accommodate me. I did not realize my bathroom was down the hall and for use with other guests - was not disclosed to me and somewhat inconvenient - especially for the price. No drawer space or some type of closet shelving for clothes that don't hang - I had folded clothes spread out on my the bed. Some hooks in the closet would be nice to hang hats or a damp towel - I had to leave mine behind the door in the bathroom that was accessible to other guests. I was surprised there was no microwave for quick heating of beverages or leftovers. I think one is necessary. Also, there was only 1 pot - good assortment of pans and pyrex, but pyrex is not good for stovetop. Need an assortment of pots - I heated up a mug of milk in a giant pot - maybe 2 quart? And I never saw a lid to it either, but I didn't look.

The keypad lock in Ocotillo suite did not work. And I never found the grill.

From the moment we arrived, everything was absolutely magical. The experience matched the pictures and lived up to every promise made in the description. The location was stunning, and the entire Inn was immaculate. It had a perfect blend of romance and tranquility. The patios, rooftop deck, and dining areas were all breathtaking. Despite the communal spaces, we never felt like we were in the public eye. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with fellow guests sharing the same desire for a peaceful retreat. Every area felt private and secluded, allowing us to truly unwind and enjoy our getaway without interruption. At JTH, it really feels like you’ve stepped into another world. We've found our special place to celebrate anniversaries for years to come—it truly feels like a home away from home.

The location was beautiful and remote. Finishings and room were amazing.

Checkin process was a mess due to lack of Communication. Unsure if it’s because of booking.com or the hotel. Very low cell phone service and didn’t get the welcome email with the codes to access the property. Once we were checked in the property was nice. No on site help. The walking trails were not cleaned of fallen cactuses.

Absolutely Everything!!! This was a total Bucketlist check for me. Something I’ve been dreaming about for years and it did not disappoint. Everything was perfect; the space, the property, the staff, every little detail showed how much heart was put into this desert oasis. I can’t wait to go back. 💜

The fact that I had to leave and couldn’t stay and live there 😊

The location of the property is excellent and very close to Saguaro National Park (West). The room was beautifully appointed and a great place to relax after hiking. The communal areas and pool were lovely too.

It is a gorgeous posada. Simple but sophisticated…outside my window there was a garden of cactus paired by an alley of Lavenders. I felt the same contrast was inside the posada. I very much appreciated the taste of the designer or designers who envisioned the place! Also loved the freedom to walk around and not feel like I was in a hotel and not being bothered by room service. …on the practical side, Courtney was very helpful when I had problems at first to connect my several devices for a meeting. internet worked well.

i wished the towels be in the bedroom. it was a bit confusing. I wished paper towels it can get messy when making coffee in that fun way and more water in the fridge please the fridge dispensary for water was blocked
