If you dont have a car Moving to and from the house with public transports is a bit of a hit and miss. You might have to uber at night, to meet your curfew. So not for the late nighters.

Such a in-house hostel setup i had never met before. I must say it s an experiment that works out - given the house amenities: amazing kitchen lounge open space and garden over the water. Pleasant owner and staff..

Hard to criticise the owner for this but I was in a room with 3 heavy snorers 😬 not a good night sleep. Also in a slightly sketchy neighbourhood, I was asked by some guys on a corner what I wanted while walking to the local McDonald’s. Would recommend Uber or driving if going anywhere

I should have rented a car because ubering everywhere got expensive. Unless you aren’t going to coming and going you should rent a car.

The water was my favorite part was the water. I saw raccoon, stork, possum, kittens and a lovely view. The people were kind, friendly, accommodating and attentive. The house feels like a home.

Very busy, lots of people coming and going. Difficult to tell who was 'local' using the property as a stop-gap and who was on vacation. Some weird and wonderful characters, felt as though the hosts always had to be weary of who might be turning up. Beautiful property that would be better suited as a full-on holiday rental rather than a 'hostel'.

Beautiful spot by the river, huge variety of wildlife on the doorstep. New-build property, perfectly clean. Good facilities too. Decent enough neighbourhood with good transport links to downtown F.Lauderdale.

Dorm was small, with 5 beds and could be quite noisy at times with people coming in and out of the room. Also no bed light.

It was a bit far from the city center, however was super clean and affordable. The building was brand new and had a nice lake on the backyard. Hosts were very friendly and caring.

I enjoyed everything about the property. Ownership is trying to do everything the right way in terms of keeping it true to a Hostel. My only recommendation would be is to have numbered bunks so as to have a little more organization for newcomers. And to also encourage labeling food in the shared refrigerator. Other than that the stay was excellent and very clean. The host was helpful and very welcoming this new property is doing everything right.

The location is in a not so favorable area of Ft Lauderdale. Both my Uber drivers to/from the address stressed why I would AirBnB from that location because it was known to be in a "dangerous area of town." The bedroom I was assigned to was a co-Ed style dormitory, and there was hair all over the floor left over from the female guest sleeping directly across from my bunk. There is only one bathroom shared by up to 10 people at any given time. The shower curtain kept falling over when I tried to shower. Then came to the realization that each dormitory room had one of two host/co-host staying in each, for what I presume to watch over the guests during their stay. My host, who slept in the single bed adjacent to my bunk, walked in and assumed I had food in the room when he saw a plastic container. When I advised him it was not food, he didn't even apologize for the confusion.

The house is beautifully renovated. It was sparkling clean in the common areas. The hosts were very cordial and welcoming.

People coming in and out of room till about 4am. they should’ve had all their work done, laundry, packing, bathroom needs etc, before a set time, maybe 10 PM, rather than coming in and out of the room late at night.
