Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

CanadaFor those wanting to sunbathe by the pool, the pool area gets direct sunlight only for part of the afternoon due to other surrounding towers as well as the Laylow tower orientation. The lobby does have some seating areas but isn’t as large as some other hotels.
Good location close enough to main shops, restaurants, and short walk to the beach. Enjoyed the gym and the water station to fill your water bottles (includes sparkling water option). Staff were great.

United KingdomAll was good, we would have preferred a shower door instead of a curtain (for the price), but it was fine. Also, the view wasn’t brilliant (for the price), but it was fine.
We really liked the decor, the room was comfy, everything worked well. The staff were always lovely, we really appreciated the option to borrow beach towels, and the breakfast food and coconut lattes were pretty good, no queues ever, as opposed to everywhere else in Honolulu. Nice to have a balcony where we could dry out swimsuits overnight.

FranceCentral location in Waikiki. The restaurant downstairs is lively and an easy option for breakfast or dinner. Get a room on a high floor and absolutely not on the pool floor side.

United States of AmericaThe room was great, but for the price the balcony was disappointingly grim (exterior room over alley/parking garage) with cheap furniture. The tragedy of having to walk downstairs for a cup of coffee. :p I like to have one while I read and wake up and for these prices, the lack of nespresso/kuerig in rooms is strange. The more bargain hotel we stayed at later in the week had one, why the missing amenity?
The pool and the activities surrounding it were amazing and our kids loved making lei and having shave ice daily (Midori in the shop was wonderful). Loved the nightly music and the drinks were good, the fries the best. Heard the restaurant is popular with locals even. But with Kono and Muragame Udon across the street we didn’t make it for dinner. These extras were definitely what made the hotel stay. Location was great, we walked to the beach easily even toting the boogie board. Shout-out to the great housekeeping who made our room perfect every day.

Great hotel. Would not use Booking.com again as totally unresponsive to fact our airline changed flight schedule to a day later and we ended up paying for a bought we didn’t use . No matter how I tried Booking.com never came back to me on anything. Totally hopeless really and should be refunded I think . I will NEVER use booking. Com again but the Laylow team did all they could to at least ensure we got our room. Booking.com😩😩😩😩😩5 star tand totally awful

CanadaDuring our weeklong stay the fridge had to be replaced and the shower drainage had to be unclogged. That said the response was prompt and the service was exceptional.
Best part was definitely the location as it was minutes (walking) away from some amazing restaurants, the local supermarket, the International Mall and of course Waikiki beach. Also loved the pool and the onsite restaurant, and the layout of the room was excellent.

United States of AmericaMy family absolutely adored the pool deck. The salt water, ability to lounge in the chairs at any point in time was great. The downside was that, as you enter to swim on the right side of the pool there was a very loose baseboard that would pop up. In that same area, there was algae that began to develop. During an afternoon swim on Tuesday 1/24 I slipped on one of those slick spots and hurt my left knee. A recommendation to include checking for algae & slick areas during the night cleaning, I noticed that maintenance was completed diligently every night.
Highlights of the property included: location, hotel vibe/theme, daily 10am activities & shave ice for the kids, welcoming staff/ helpful staff, & the convenience of the coffee shop in the lobby. The music playing whether it was live or not was always an absolute favorite.

United States of AmericaDo not ever take the tour for the Hawaiian fire show. It's 3 hours of standing in lines for food or drinks. You can see the show in different restaurants - better ask them about the schedule.
A great city hotel in the heart of the tourist center. A 3-minute walk from all main restaurants and 5 minutes from Waikiki. We were traveling with two kids, so Waikiki was not the best choice for us. It's too crowdy and waived. The best options for kids are Ala Mohana beach and Ko Olina lagoons. It's better to pre-book all restaurants, as there are reeeealy long lines. Honolulu has great shopping opportunities. The sales tax here is much lower than in California or NY, so you can get your Chanel or Prada for $300 cheaper than in your local shops. And they have a great selection of items more interesting than in Rodeo Drive sometimes.

United States of AmericaWe were on the sixth floor and there was a view of a parking deck and a cement wall. The noise from the alleyway being on a lower floor wasn’t great either.
Layout of our corner suite was great for two adults and three kids. The bed was really comfortable and the proximity to the beach and restaurants was great.

Needed 3 beds so size of room was great. Day beds were not that comfortable though, but it worked. Location was great, but very busy area. Liked the hideout restaurant and bar, loved the live music each night and the pool was very pretty. Price point was high, but needed 3 beds so had to pay more. All in all, very nice stay and great vibe at this hotel. Loved the decor!!
