Nothing, we thought the hotel had everything you could need!

The room was extremely spacious, the bed was super comfy and the views of the city were amazing. The pool was perfect and if you like margaritas, the bar by the pool serves the best margaritas! The hotel was also in a great location!

Unfortunately, the bathroom was a real drawback: there was no proper lighting (only an additional dim vanity light provided) and the ventilation wasn’t working well. What disappointed us most, however, was the service. Despite booking a room for three people, only two towels were provided, and when we requested more, they were simply dropped on the floor at the door. Similarly, when we asked for silverware, only one set was given for the three of us. Traveling with a two-year-old, we would have appreciated a bit more attention and care from the staff. We also paid for amenities including the pool, but only towels were provided. A robe and slippers would have been appreciated, especially since the outdoor floor gets extremely hot in the Austin heat. On top of that, the pool area wasn’t very well maintained, with bird droppings on the floor that made it uncomfortable to walk around. With some improvements in service, amenities, and cleanliness, this hotel could easily earn a higher rating, as the location and comfort are otherwise very good.

The room was spacious and very well soundproofed, which made for a quiet and comfortable stay. The location is excellent — right in the heart of the city — and the restaurant in the hotel was a very pleasant surprise, with good food, atmosphere and staff. Very good valet staff - very thoughtful and helpful with a little kid in our hands!

Nothing really

The Line is a nice hotel from the moment we walked in. The elevators were small but they worked and were a cute color of Pink. The coffee shop was a nice touch in the mornings and the hotel was close to walk to the see the bats under the bridge and only a couple blocks in walking distance to 6th street. We did walk to Congress avenue for shopping which was a little bit of a walk but not bad. I would stay here again.

Our chair was broken in our room. The rooms are dark and the lighting is tacky with the chain hanging. Beds are extremely low to the ground and the bathroom has no fan.

Rooms were very clean. Shower is excellent.

Storage space was lacking and a rack to sit your luggage bag on would be handy. Addressing these by upgrading in-room amenities and features like adding more storage options would elevate the guest experience and better match the hotel’s premium pricing and modern aesthetic.

I had an amazing stay at The Line Austin, Texas last month! The hotel’s vibe is so cool and modern, with stunning views of the river and a perfect location for exploring the city. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making check-in and check-out a breeze. My room was super comfortable, stylish, and spotlessly clean, with all the amenities I needed. The on-site dining was delicious, and the pool area was a great spot to relax. I can’t wait to come back—highly recommend The Line Austin for a fantastic stay!

Our room had a partial view of the lake and a partial view of a wall. Also, our room smelled a bit damp.

The room itself & elevators are a little dated, but we didn't mind. With all the pluses from hospitality to location to view to vibes, the value was there tenfold.

10/10 would stay again. Gorgeous view of Lake Austin from the room and the pool deck was one of my favorite hotel pools. Lush and a great vibe. The tacos from veracruz (restaurant onsite) were incredible - great for pool snacks or breakfast tacos. Loved the coffee shop in the lobby too. Cute rooftop bar we really enjoyed as well. Location cannot be beat. Huge perk to find out that paddleboards & kayaks on Lake Austin were included with our stay - loved starting our mornings that way. Upon arrival we were surprised with a cake & card waiting for us to celebrate my fiance's birthday. They went above & beyond to make our stay wonderful. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

The beds were very low, it was fine for us, but elderly people I think would have a problem getting up from the bed.

The location was perfect along the Greenbelt Trail. Easy to take your pen out for relief. I do have an older dog, so the stairs were a little much for him, but for a dog without mobility issues, it’s no problem.

Our room was overlooking Cesar Chavez street which had fairly noisy traffic all night. A lakeview room might be quieter. The bed is quite low which wasn't a problem for us but worth considering. Prices were high because Formula 1 were in town so at other times of year it is probably better value.

The downtown location close to shops and bars/restaurants which are a short walk away was excellent. The room was very spacious. We didn't eat in the hotel so can't comment on the food. The Taco restaurant on the corner of the hotel looked good but give yourself time as it isn't a fast food outlet. Enjoyable stay so would recommend.

No issue with property. Would’ve loved a complimentary upgrade as the hotel was seemingly at pretty low occupancy.

Favorite hotel in Austin and it’s always my choice when in town for location, aesthetic, and Arlo Grey.

Great property in a great location, the pool was wonderful and the staff was great. It was a bit disappointing when we arrived late there was no bar open or food available. The tacos during the day were great but there is nothing available after 10PM and nothing very close to walk to

The low to the ground beds, mattress was very uncomfortable . Elevators are slow and very small.Coffee maker in room didn’t work.

The only thing is that the pool was slightly less nice than I thought, as you can see the highway/main road from it, I’d expected more isolated. Otherwise I really enjoyed my stay!

The staff was very nice, I came on my birthday and they added a nice touch with a hand written card and cookie, and gave me a great room in a quiet area and a lovely view of the river. The gym is also quite nice and I had decent Mexican food in the hotel. It’s centrally located.

A supervisor double charge my room an extra $829. Staff member wasn't helpful at all. All she did was give me $100 food and beverage credit 🙄. I'm glad I checked my account,while traveling on vacation you want that financial security. I told my friend and she checked and she was double charged also. I don't know what shady stuff they are doing but stay away from this hotel.

Restaurants were great. I loved the pool. The ambiance and decor of the hotel.

The price to park your car as a guest was $54 USD per night - which we thought was completely unreasonable considering we were paying guests...

Great central location in Downtown Austin - clean and comfortable - friendly staff, great pool with delicious tacos and cocktails.
