Whilst the hotel is well situated for Union Square , shopping and the Cable Car/Trolley Bus stops, the streets around the hotel - Turk, Eddy, Taylor and Mason - are a hotbed for druggies and vagrants, with groups becoming noisy at night.

The location. It is in quite a bad neighborhood, did not dare to leave the hotel to early in the morning or late at night

The breakfast.Poor choice, actually no choice and expensive for the quality.How is it possible: either orange juice or coffee? The coffee should be granted for this price !!!

There was only one thing that we did not like about this hotel, and it had nothing to do with the hotel itself. But it should be mentioned that the location of this hotel is in the heart of the tenderloin district, which is the most unsafe sector of San Francisco. Overrun with homeless and violence. And very dirty. You cannot walk around outside after dark at all. So while the hotel is located near Union Square if you are out and about after dark, you must take an Uber back even though it’s only a couple of blocks away. It’s really unfortunate that the hotel is so incredible and located in the worst part of San Francisco.

So many wonderful things to say about the hotel. From the valet to the bedding. This hotel was absolutely fabulous. The staff was superior. Went out of their way to meet all of our needs and make our stay absolute perfection. We ate at both of the restaurants and they were fabulous. Exceptional service there as well. The beds and the rooms were so comfortable. Had two of the best nights sleep in a long time.

the hotel is located next to the main street but the surrounding buildings are a meeting point of homeless people - not unsafe but could be loud at night.

Our corner suite was beautiful & quiet, the bed comfy & views were great. The windows opened & the breeze was perfect & fresh. The shower pressure was heavenly & the bathtub was a bonus after long days of walking & festivals. The rooftop is the perfect place to chill, day & night. We will definitely stay here again.

Location odd and not the best , not sure where our car was parked by valet and the room wasn’t curio standards.

customer service. location in the city... not much around it.

the room was GREAT - and the people nice. ... but, some weirdness with valet and getting in touch with the hotel for an issue was a nightmare.... even with the information for management - and emailing them --- and calling - no answer was given.

The location outside the hotel seemed very dangerous! The people on the streets openly using drugs and just an uneasy feeling about being so close to what perceived to be crime.

The cafe was fine. The staff was friendly and it didn't take long to get our order.
