The couch smelled like pee when we walked in, and communication prior to the stay was frustrating. The rules for parking and pets were different on booking vs. Vacasa vs. the binder on site. This made it very difficult to plan and coordinate. As all guests drove in from different cities.

PERFECt location close to the beach, grocery store, gas, restaurants and ferry! It was also modern and renovated which made it feel more comfy.

There is something wrong with the grout in the floors. When you walk on them they move and it seems like the grout is cracking. It would have been nice to have a few throw blankets laying around. The blankets on the bed were very thin. They had a coffee machine but no coffee so bring some pods if you’re a coffee drinker. Also some condiments would have been nice. We’ve stayed at other rentals before and it’s the small things like that which make the place feel cozy. It would have been nice to have a few USB ports around. I know there were some in the couch but the couch wasn’t plugged in so they did not work. Be sure to bring your plug in cubes. For some reason I could not get the WiFi to work in the main bedroom so I had to connect to my Hotspot to get the tv working. The home was clean on the surface but there was a lot of dust accumulated on the lamp shades. They need to put some WD-40 on the guest bedroom door as it squeaks really loud when it’s opened or closed. The air filter also kept saying it needed to be changed out. I’m not sure if that’s the cleaning persons job or someone else’s. We didn’t want to mess anything up so we didn’t mess with it. If you are older, have bad knees, or have lots of luggage be warned the home is up 2 flights of stairs.

The location was great. It was quit, but also close to all the shops and beaches. We pretty much had the pool to ourselves the whole time which seemed odd since it was June but we loved it. The grounds were clean. They have good Wi-Fi and smart TVs in each room. They allowed us to enter about an hour and a half early which was great since we drove about 6 and a half hours. The frig is huge and the bed was comfortable. They had your basics like towels, laundry detergent, dish washing detergent and dishes. I really enjoyed the large beach towels as well. they have a coffee machine with cups.

A little more control of the climate control because it was too cold the first night, which made it uncomfortable for my wife. Also, we wish we were able to check in earlier than we were allowed to.

Good location, spacious for our needs. Looked just like the pictures. Would gladly stay again.

We booked 4 months before our trip. They changed the booking to no garage access. That left us parking for 1. After getting in the house the book in the house said it had garage access. No one cared that they lied about it. They just want your money.

    The location

The Furnace did not function and it got fairly chilly on the first night and the house went below 65F. My daughter decided to leave for home the following evening rather than freezing another night...kind of busts the family vacation idea. The ceramic tile in the hallway was not adhered to the subfloor so it crunched and moved when walked on. The garage door had not been lubricated/serviced in a very long time and felt as though it was coming off the ceiling when operated. Decided to park the Jeep in the driveway. The property was not cleaned to expectations. The patio furniture needed to be wiped down before it could be used. The cup holders in the living room sofa had leftover food in them. There were food bits underneath the table in the living room. Very frustrating given we paid $180 cleaning fee for 2 a day stay and had to spend the first hour or so cleaning up after the last tennant.

The proximity of the pool to the the property was nice. The proximity to the grocery store, Beach and restaurants made it easy to grab a bite and head to the beach. Love the Port-A beach and beach road.
