Great location, perfect for girl’s weekend!

Great location! Cute and clean room! We come to Galveston a few times each year. THE oleander had always been on my list to try, but it just hadn’t worked out until now. I’m so glad we stayed here! It will be the first place I look to book for future trips to the island!

The air conditioner unit made a noise all night

The shower was extremely slow draining. There. Was about two inches of water accumulated on the shower floor while I was in there.

It was decorated and maintained in a clean, upbeat manner.

I don't care for pastry. Emily was great at answering questions. We arrived in Galveston way to early due to Southwest schedule. We had to get up at 330AM for a 415a pickup. A sail over a portion of the porch to give some shade would be helpful for those needing to wait. Attention to detail including bath products and linens was lovely .Location was good and I made a dinner reservation nearby at Saltwater Grill, Uber to our ship was good. Also used Rock the Ride , a Galveston company,, for transportation from Hobby and the cruise ship.

It would be lovely to have a pool or hot tub. Other than that, it was perfect!

this is such a charming property! The boutique experience is so unique and this little gem did not disappoint! We loved our room and the location.

Aside that the Oleander is in a great location, it was a comfortable place to stay. Communication with the owners was great and check in easy. The room was spotlessly clean and comfortable. Great bathroom and shower! Will stay again!

I thought the wallpaper was a little strange. but going with the theme and area that this is built around seems fitting of the time.

I liked the cuteness of it. the eclectic style. The room set up was super cute and I loved that there was a walk in shower with regular size products. The key in the lockbox with code awesome idea!!!

A little noisy and would like to have had a blackout curtain for the window, only for blocking the light outside, but LOVE the shade.

The rooms and decor are very nice.

No information upon arrival as to coffee, water, how to work tv etc. Room had one window facing the street. Motion light went on and off all night. Couldn't open blind during day due to street

Oleander hotel is a budget facility that looks better from the outside. No lobby and check in was a bit confusing since there are No numbers on key boxes in the hallway. There are 8 velvet pillows on the bed! Why? No coffee table Big stand alone mirror placed where night stand should and need to be. AC too loud, had to keep it off all night. Fan in the bathroom very loud Cheep microfiber sheets that are very thin and look unwashed Mold in the bathroom ceiling

Primary issue was the mold smell.

Air temp inside room was good. Location of hotel was good. Several other points were bad or terrible.

Very loud hallway’s, the automatic door lock on the front door is super loud, the building is concrete cinderblocks so sound is amplified.

It wasn’t what I had anticipated, for my wife’s birthday stay given them price point.

Property was clean and had all amenities we required. It was also located in a decent location not to far from many of the cities attractions though current road construction posed an issue.
