We didn't have any issues while we were at this property.

The location was fantastic and easy to walk anywhere we wanted to go in town. It was easy to get in and out to Acadia as well. Parking on site made life very easy. We enjoyed the included breakfast and they were able to simplify a couple dishes to meet kid expectations.

Beautiful hotel with a fabulous restaurant. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. This is a perfect location. We were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go in town, but it is just far enough up the street to avoid the crazy crowds.

We enjoyed most everything about the property. My son wished for a pool or hot tub.

It was a newer property. It still smelled so fresh and clean! The carpet was incredibly soft and the beds were comfortable. We were located on the backside of the elevator shaft and we didn’t hear it once! We had a king room with a twin. The twin had a dividing wall to give privacy to the main bed which was perfect for our son to be with us, but have his own space. There was a tv in the twin space as well so he could do his own thing! The location was amazing. Off the Main Street and far enough down Cottage St so we didn’t have the congestion, but a short walk to EVERYTHING! Easy walk to the land bridge too. Exceptional breakfast included and free parking. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming as well.

No coffee in the room. Getting fully dressed in early morning in order to get coffee/tea in the lobby is not convenient.

The location was great! easy walking to downtown, ocean pier/walks, parks and shuttle bus service to National Park and beyond. The attached restaurant/bar was very good: good food, nice drinks and friendly staff.

Price was pretty high but fair for the location and competitor rates. Worth it in my opinion, all things considered!

Location was perfect! Easy walking distance to all the shops and restaurants, as well as the harbor. The rooms were extremely spacious and clean with the comfiest hotel bed I've ever felt. Staff was excellent, especially the young man who checked us in - didn't get his name but he was awesome! I loved the daily treats at the front desk. Whoever baked them all has a talent! Complimentary breakfast was also very tasty.

The rooms are spacious with Ethan Allan furniture. The staff is really terrific, there is parking on site and the breakfast options are interesting and quite good. While most hotels are cutting costs, the owners spent money on this, and it shows. Great stay.

Pillows were a little hard and too thick. We asked for softer, flatter ones. The parking under the building is pretty tight for larger vehicles, and not enough spaces if its a full house. There is a lot across the street. The TV system is too complicated (like most hotels seem to be.) I think the average traveler wants just the basic local channels to get the local weather and maybe a common movie channel for evening relaxation. Would have preferred a couple more basic breakfast options with appropriate pricing.

Pathmaker is obviously brand new (hotel since fall 2024, restaurant just opened a few weeks ago). Management seems to be setting a high bar. Towels and linens are high quality. Toiletries are very good quality, but in pretty small bottles. The included breakfast was not typical and very good, nicely presented (but not particularly kid-friendly.) Covered parking is very handy. Great location in town, easy walk to almost everything, except Acadia NP itself. Full service grocery store right across the street. Housekeeping staff is very nice and pretty easy to communicate with. Restaurant staff friendly and very competent.

We had the BEST stay at The Pathmaker! We got engaged while staying here, so Bar Harbor will always have a special place in our hearts. Wish we didn't have to travel for 30+ hours to get here, otherwise we'd be back tomorrow!! Beautiful room and really kind and accommodating staff!
