mosquitos (not a problem of accomodation), extremly loud aircondition (probably that is the reason of two pillows per person :-D ) , restaurants around which are promoted are not offering the value for the money they ask.

Our cottage had to have been the smallest room we have ever stayed in. We did choose the economy rate but were surprised at the actual size.

The beach area is roomy and beautifully kept.

Located on a busy road. Still walkable though.

Facility was older with older furnishings but our room was very clean with everything needed. Loved that there was a small private beach right there!

I missed a table, napkins or paper towel, and also a big mirror in the room. The air conditioner made a big noise all night long .

The property was perfect, good spot!! Amazing view!

Real gem with access to the sea. Different size bungallows for different prices. We were offered a reasonable upgrade.

The place is well situated. Very clean, had a fridge, coffee maker. They had a small beach, free kayaks, for the price you can't beat it.

The wifi connection would not connect on one device and fell off every 5 minutes on another. I also didn't like the light which crept in around the edges of the blinds on the windows, but I hung towels up and my room became perfectly dark at night.

The cottages were perfect for what I was looking for; a local vibe with a quiet location. There are 2 lanes which lead to the bay with beach access. Both lanes are lined with varying sizes of beach themed rooms/cottages. The Pelican offers beach and dock access, free kayaks to tour the bay, hammocks, lounge chairs, bar-b-q pit, boat launch, and a quiet time, all within walking distance to many restaurants. I was assigned the "Mermaid" room which had a queen sized bed, small bathroom/shower and a small closet. It was perfect for what I needed.

Room and bathroom were very dated and in need of remodeling.

Location to restaurants and dive charters was great. Docks and water access with kayaks was nice. Had an old Florida feel to the grounds. Room was clean and plenty of towels.

The air con was very loud.

The Pelican is great, as it's close to everything. The parking was easy, with each room having its own designated parking slot in front. It has its own beachfront, where we sunbathed and swam. The room was basic but had everything we needed, and it was very clean. The staff changed our towels every day and ensured our needs were met. They even have a ice machine, which I found especially helpful to have in a hot and humid weather. Important: bring your mosquito repellent if you're the kind that's favored by them. We didn't always feel the weather was hot enough to turn on the air con (which was loud), especially when it rained, so when the air con was off, the mosquitos had a banquet in our room.

The double bed was fine, but the sofa bed was rather uncomfortable. Only plastic crockery was provided.

We stayed in the King Waterfront Suite at Sailaway. The bungalow was in a wonderful position and was spacious, with a big veranda. There is a very nice sandy beach with sun loungers, excellent free kayaks and beautiful sunsets (the pictures shown are realistic). Overall, it was an excellent experience!

I felt mislead by the name "Cottages" and the now that I've been there obviously very careful choice of pictures on the listing. Very disappointed about sharing a wall with another resident. For what we paid, we could have just stayed at a hotel, then we would have had a pool.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. They all went above and beyond to be accommodating.

A beautifully beachy hotel with great potential, but the stay was soured by the front desk staff’s rude and unwelcoming

Unfortunately, the experience was overshadowed by the rude and unprofessional attitude of the front desk staff. The woman who checked us in (with a Russian accent) was cold, dismissive, and acted as if we were bothering her just by showing up. It’s a shame, because the hotel itself was lovely and had a lot of potential. But hospitality is everything, and the poor treatment at the front desk made the stay far less enjoyable than it could have been. Not sure I’d return because of that.

The hotel had a very charming, beachy style clean, well-decorated, and overall a relaxing atmosphere.

The location and ambiance are wonderful and the management staff is very pleasant and helpful in every way. Absolutely a delightful, romantic and relaxing place to escape everything. No additional fees for parking, internet, resort fees or other misc out of pocket expenses, which added to the positive experience. Very easy to get comfortable and relax at own pace.
