Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaReally nothing, but for the sake of being fair, I’ll say parking. Parking is included and that is fabulous and welcome. Their lot is just a little tight, so be mindful of of that when you’re driving and parking in back.
This hotel was such a pleasant surprise. I really had no clue exactly what we were getting. It looked cute online and I needed a place to stay for my son and I who were doing a college visit. Walking in we were greeted by a lovely little bar. The bartender was super friendly and inviting as she welcomed us in. They also have a large front porch you can relax on and watch the nightlife. The elevator was one of our favorite things! I will say no more, to save you an surprise. All of the rooms were themed after cocktails. So inventive and creative to see how our room was decorated thus. We stayed in the Bee’s Knees and it was SO cute and comfy. Breakfast are was very cozy and relaxing. They had great little breakfast options to start your day. Nothing fancy, but all good things…and coffee! Peninsula has done a beautiful job of creating an old-world atmosphere in a modern and comfortable way. Plus there are great restaurants and shops up and down the street, and the bay is a short walk away. My son and I grabbed ice cream at “Let It Be” (awesome, right?!) and then walked to the pier while we talked. It was a WONDERFUL STAY!

United States of AmericaAcross the hall some people had a late night party., which kept me from sleeping.
It’s recently renovated. Each room is themed to go with a cocktail. The bathroom and sink were updated.

United States of AmericaThe couch was low for seniors. No bath tub mat or a slip free inside surface would be a plus. Hand rails near toilet and tub would be a good idea.
We enjoyed the breakfast. It was exactly what we needed to start our day. Our room was very clean. The bed was so comfortable which made it difficult to get up. The ease of checking in and out was an added feature.

United States of AmericaEverything was amazing! I could see why it might be confusing for some individuals since there is not always staff on site.
The room was beautiful and very clean. There was only one day where staff was on the property and they were so kind and informative. There was free parking and snacks and drinks. Loved the little touches.

United States of AmericaBreakfast could be improved with some protein options like eggs and sausage.
The street the bed in breakfast is on has a bunch of eateries and shops. It seems to be a very popular place at night for the locals to hang out. I also enjoyed the hotel bar.

United KingdomBreakfast was OK but the staff used it as a trough fair so not that relaxing. Selection was OK but very limited even for a continental selection. Room was lovely but lacked hanging space/shelves (especially in the bathroom)/ vanity space.
Quaint, full of character and very colourful. The staff member who booked us in was brilliant (bar manager) and we really made up to have a drink with her and get some local info. The location of the property couldn't have been better in the middle of everything. Loved the lift!!!

United States of AmericaThe contactless portion to check in was kind of difficult but a worker came and let us in and helped us check in a tad bit early.
This was one of the cutest hotels we’ve stayed in! Has cute decor and is an old historic building. The elevator was old and had an old metal door to close with cute drink decor. Every room was different with cocktail themes. Our was pina coloda with pineapple wall paper. It was right across some restaurants and right down the street from the beach. Even had a cute market right outside Saturday morning.
