Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of Americathe rooms were a little noisy at night. we were two floors below the Blu bar and live music played there till 11:00pm each night. Wasn't truly an issue unless one went to bed that early.
we were upgraded to a top floor and were able to eat on the club level for breakfast and snacks.

United States of AmericaRooms very spacious, great views from room as well as the top floor pool area. The location was perfect, right in the heart of the city and a close walk to the public market. The history of the space and the decor was all upkept very well. Breakfast was delicious and the bar, restaurant, and cafe were all very chic. The staff was incredibly friendly and the amenities were nice. No complaints, will definitely be staying here again next time I am in Milwaukee.

United States of AmericaCheck in was at 3pm and half of our group got there at 3: 45pm and room wasn't ready and was told a 20 min wait-- ok fine. Then my group arrives around at 4:15 pm, stands in line 15 minutes and then told our room isn't ready and will be 2- 2 1/2 hrs which is totally not acceptable when have young children with us. They offer a different room which are not suites and $100 meal credit if we want to get in a room asap, but they didn't offer it to the rest of my party with had already been waiting in the lobby almost an hour and with all our kids we wanted the suites and rooms we paid for so we declined. So we were told 2-2 1/2 hrs to get into our room, but the rest of our party told 20 mins but had already waited 45 mins by them we got there, so off to a bad start. This process was extremely frustrating. Then 10 mins later they told us both our rooms are ready so I am bewildered what the issues were that day-- Friday 29th March. I didn't like that we have to pay for parking and the amount that is charged.
Beautiful historical hotel in a prime location in Downtown Milwaukee. Enjoyed the pool and walking around the hotel to look at all the grandeur. The King Suite I booked was spacious for a family with kids and clean. The shower head was amazing in the rooms on 6th floor as it was like rain falling down. Excellent Cafe with great cookies and pastries. Bell hop staff was so kind, polite, and helpful as we traveled with children and had lots of things to bring to our room. We parked in the ramp and once checked in then bell hop came out to our vehicle to bring bags to our room. Housekeeping was great too as we declined them to come every day but when we needed more towels and to take trash out they came to our room so fast. The hotel is close to so many downtown attractions that we walked to some of them.

United States of AmericaThe food and beverages were not fabulous. The lobby charcuterie was good. But the breakfast sandwiches were bland and the drinks up at the lounge and smoothie in the cafe were not good. The hotel was lovely. They need to work on their food.
It’s iconic and beautiful. The pool and lounge have amazing views. The lobby is sensational.
