Although it did not affect me, my room was on the third floor with no elevator. It could have been important to know about that in advance.

The security before checking in is odd. It is a hotel without a front desk, or anyone on site. However, there is no coded entry. Before arriving, anyone could have come in off the street and gone to the room, and, find it unlocked with the keys on the bedside table. The wifi in our room was poor. It was good in the lounge.

A beautiful old hotel with lovely modernized rooms. Friendly staff. Great location. A comfortable and well-provisioned lounge.

Second time staying in this beautiful hotel. We had some initial problems with our room not being available at checkin time however the owner went above and beyond to rectify the situation. Would love to stay here again.

Clean up in the lounge was a little confusing. There was a dishwasher but there was no way to know if the dishes inside were clean or dirty. Management should leave a sign with guidance and staff should run dishwasher and empty it when the cycle is finished.

The hotel was beautifully restored. Our room was very comfortable. We enjoyed the lounge and the selection of food choices available for breakfast and snacks.

That it didn't have a large mirror for my woman. But even then, it was really nice.

Would have liked to have had a dressing mirror in the room. That's all.

Comfortable and spacious accommodations with an upscale residential decor Cleanliness of the room and public spaces. A guest lounge well stocked with snacks and pastries as well as quick to prepare breakfast items. Jim, the hotel owner made us feel as though we were staying in his personal home. Free parking and convenient location.

Such a lovely property with beautiful old architecture. The location is so convenient to be able to go to everything downtown Port Washington has to offer by just walking out of the door.

Breakfast was not really set out, other than pastries. Things were kept in the refrigerator, which was also used for other guests food. Booking.com did not send any instruction email. Bit of confusion when checking in.

Loved the kitchen with the coffee and snacks available. Very clean and welcoming. The whole building is beautiful with lots of character. Everything is within walking distance. Would definitely stay here again

The only complaint is there is no elevator in the building. All of the rooms are on the 2nd or 3rd floor.

The hotel staff was really nice. The hotel owner contacted me the morning of my visit to inform me of all of my credentials for my visit. Awesome staff and clean room. Will definitely visit again.

Exterior of the hotel was a mess with garbage and unkept landscaping. We missed that is didn’t have an elevator. We did t need it but I could see where it could be an issue for elderly couples not in very good health.

Rooms were very clean and put together nicely. Restaurant was excellent as well.
