The only thing that could be mentioned here: A shady spot in the garden (e.g. with a parasol) would be an advantage. Otherwise there is nothing negative to mention.

The raven house is furnished with a lot of love to the detail. It feels like that all of the wonderful room equipment like telescope, sculptures and books were gathered over years to give the house a feeling like beeing at home. Not comparable with a room of a standard hotel chain. The garden with pool is beautiful - especially in the evening. There are few other houses in the immediate vicinity. It is therefore very quiet - the only noise comes from nature. Overall it was for us a great stay!!!

The only „issue“ we had was that it was somehow noisy. The whole time, there was a buzzing sound we could not categorize… We were looking for the total silence in nature, so we were not very happy about it.

My husband and I did a road trip and stayed in motels most of the time and this was our last night and boy was it amazing! We made dinner at home, sat in front of the fire, sat in the hottub and looked at the amazing night sky. Everything you need is there. The host left clear instructions and care for the house. There were many books about the area. I would definitely recommend staying here at least one night. Home away from home in the desert.

To make the most of the Raven House it would be good to stay for more than one night.

Beautifully renovated cabin in Joshua Tree. Close to the National Park, places to eat and supermarkets. The setting was stunning, just on the edge of the desert, with full access to the cactus garden.

The property was very clean and instructions for entry were very clear and easy to understand. There are many little extras that made our stay relaxing and comfortable. The location allows easy access to Joshua Tree National Park.

The house was very clean and quiet. Loved the location and the owner had a wonderful setup. The hot tub out back was a perfect end to our day. The house was located a short drive to the Park entrance so that was a plus as well.

Best stay ever. The house was cozy but had *everything*, from a fully stacked kitchen to great books and board games. The hot tub was perfect, the bed was extremely comfortable, and the whole house is beautifully decorated - a LOT of effort went into this house and its surroundings. Thank you Hilary!!! The backyard area is large and has a lot of flora and fauna. We saw a ton of quails, a hummingbird and a rabbit, and the sunset was unbelievable.

The house is absolutely perfect! Near Joshua Tree National Park, beautiful garden with wildlife (rabbits, californian quails and I even saw a hummingbird) and a hot tub. The house itself was very clean and comfortable. Excellent experience!

Nothing. If you can't be happy at this cottage, you can't be pleased.

This is an exceptional B&B. It was immaculate with large clean windows to take in the views. The kitchen had sharp knives and had every hand tool a person could want. There was an upscale pod-type coffee maker, with pods provided,and the coffee was delicious and strong. The pantry was stocked with unexpired oatmeal, teas, etc. The bed was immensely comfortable and inviting. One evening we had a fire in the fireplace, adding to the charm. There were two decks with chairs, tables and fire pits. In addition, there was a two-person hot tub, maintained at 106 degrees, with a lightweight lid. Parking was on a cement pad, immediately outside the door. Truly, this cottage has everything anyone could want. When we left, the owner requested that we leave everything we used, every lap throw, every blanket, etc. in a pile to be washed. This is a B&B in a class of its own.

We loved the location. Situated in a huge garden, it was quiet and very secluded, even though next door to the owner’s property. We genuinely wished we could have stayed there longer but even on our flying visit, we saw two coyotes, a jack rabbit and the most glorious sunrise. Everything about The Raven House was perfect for us! Very helpful and pleasant owner, too, so 10/10 from us.

It was perfect. The entire property was spotless and the decor was do beautifully detailed. We were close to the main road to easily go grab a bite and drive to the main entrance of the park. The hot tub underneath the stars was unforgettable.

The house was beautiful really thoughtful touches, wide variety of books about the surrounding area. Welcome email included lots of ideas w tips and tricks. Everything was really thought out. Got to meet the host and she was really nice as well. House was the perfect size for my mom and I to spend a night looking at the Meteor shower. Everything you could need, want & even stuff you didn't think about was available.

It’s hard to fault, there wasn’t anything we didn’t like.

We loved the property, it’s design and location. The place was equipped with everything you needed for a weekend stay. It makes a noticeable difference when an owner pays attention to fine details. Hilary even had the brand of English tea I like which I have been searching for and haven’t been able to find since arriving here!

This property is lovely, well-decorated, comfortable, and featuring amenities like a hot tub and telescope. It also has a peaceful backyard with views of the desert. Hilary is incredibly helpful and very quick to respond. I will definitely stay here again when I visit Joshua Tree.
