A little expensive for what it is

We did travel and book 3 rooms months in advance that were supposed to be in the same unit and we're not. Parking sucked, we had to park a ways away. Food at the bar and grill was pricey for what it was and took so long to come out. Our teenagers went to play basketball at 8 am and were told they couldn't which is crazy! I understand younger kids, but these boys (cousins) see each other maybe twice a year and woke up early to run to the rec center to play basketball and were turned away.

Breakfast was great! Coffee was good. Bus driver was phenomenal. The bonfire was a nice touch also.

The bed is huge but it's like your sleeping on a piece of plywood it's very uncomfortable

The facility is amazing the entire place is clean and very well maintained we stayed in the Executive suites the room was very clean and well organized but the staff at the front desk was rude and obnoxious when we checked in and they weren't clear on what we needed to do to get fresh linens or how to get trash bags for our room on the second day we were here we needed fresh linens and had to contact the front desk three or four times before someone brought us more towels then the 3rd day i had to stop one of the cleaners and ask them for trash bags and toilet paper for our room as they hadn't been to our room at all it might have been because we brought our dog with us but we were told at check in they would be coming to our room daily to clean and give us fresh linens and they never did so in short would we stay here again probably not at least not for any longer then one night

The spa/fitness center was far away and hard to find, especially at night. The cottage we stayed at was a little outdated and the carpet was dirty.

Executive Suites need significant renovation. The buildings and rooms are old and tired.

Stay here often on road trip from SC to Ohio to see family. It is a convenient, dog friendly place to stay. Decent restaurants on site. Very pretty location. And always clean. Great spot if traveling with a dog.

Booking.com said bikes would be included if available. The resort did not know anything about that.

The buffet breakfast was very good, The recreation facilities were good although there was an extra charge for many of those.

Our executive suite was roomy and well organized. However, it is in need of a bit of brightening up. Especially the “living room area”, which gets the hardest use. The walls were too dark with dark upholstery as well, all in various shades of brown. The carpet desperately needed a good cleaning and fresh sofa and chair in lighter tones with a bit of color. The artwork was very nice and the bathroom and bedroom were much happier places.

The resort was in an absolutely gorgeous setting!! Loved being able to walk to all that was offered on wide paved paths. Very nice architecture and kind staff.

Cleanliness of executive suites, they need more attention!!!

I would like to see the outdated ac units in the executive suites, updated. They are extremely loud and sound like something crashed into the wall every time they kick on. They also do not remove any of the moisture in the room due to them short cycling. It is hard to get any good sleep with those old things banging around.

We love the location and the quiet setting. We have yet to use any other service other than staying in a room but plan to next time.

Poor water pressure so showers weren't good. Poor maintenance of pool tables and lacking cues. Missing horseshoes, staff couldn't find corn hole, couldn't play video games as kiosk wasn't working.

Breakfast was great. Friendly staff. Comfortable bed. Pools were beautiful and very clean. Great, well equipped fitness room. Bowling alley was modern, fun and plenty of balls.

The room wasn't ready at check in (4pm), the sofa bed was uncomfortable for the kids (though the master bed was wonderful)

I was told there would be a 50$ incidental fee that wouldn't be taken off but pending..but that's not true they took it soon as I ran my card again..then tried charging me two charges of 27.17 and 26.63 I never got the deposit back and yet I got something to my card saying they still tryna take over 60$ out my account.we stayed just two days the 1st and 2nd left out the 3rd of November

The property is very tired. Probably launched in the 1980s. One major bathroom upgrade since then but nothing else. We stayed two nights . No room service - beds unmade etc. etc.

Location is great. Food at both the clubhouse restaurants was excellent. Staff ere very pleasant and accommodating.

The first room I felt had been closed up and not used for awhile, My thoughts at least. Mildew around the edge of the bathtub.. Spoke with the Staff and the issue was resolved in a timely manner. Room upgrade. The indoor pool and hot tub was under renovation. The outdoor pool we didn't use.

The Scenery of the Deer near and at the Resort was Absolutely Beautiful! Spacious Room😁 Lots of recreation of things to do. Friendly Staff. My Husband was competing in an archery competition nearby.Our family enjoyed the scenery most of all.

The room smelled like a dog had peed on the carpet. My guess is the carpet had been cleaned but it still smelled and was slightly damp. Also, the bathroom sink was plugged and took an incredibly long time to drain. Overall cleanliness could be improved. Mainly fixtures being wiped clean.

There was ample room to spread out and relax with a nice covered area outside to watch lightning and lightning bugs.
