I stayed for two days. The card the front desk gave me doesn't opened the door at all I was tired from my travel and to find out that the card not open the door it was frustrating. The tv was not operating when I turned on. The front desk lady named Smeralda was polite and she treated me well. The bathroom downstairs was not locked properly the door was opening while I was using the bathroom. Overall it was nice my staying. Room was spacious and comfortable it has a kitchen, sink, microwave, refrigerator. The cats were nice and well behaved 😊 They were the only one who greeted me. Front desk people need to have a welcome smile to everyone not to the ones they know.

Is near to many stores and closed to Greyhound bus station.

No Kleenex or cups in the room. That might have been an over sight. The bed lamp didn’t work, but I never informed the front desk.

Feels like a family run establishment….not sure, but has that sort of feeling to it. Right near the border…classic historical hotel. A little pricey, but fair and “vale de pena”. Have stayed numerous times.

It's in a stylish building downtown and the rooms are well maintained in 1half 20th century style. Efficient staff at reception at checkin. Easy parking in front of entrance Elevator You may or may not like what you see in downtown Laredo and by 8pm the streets are pretty much deserted, but it is safe there. Most restaurants close by that time, some are open until 9. If you feel like a burger or wings, try ALAburger.

Continental breakfast was ok. Fruit, wheat bread, white bread, and white bagels with butter and jam. Flavored yogurt, coffee, and muffins.

This is not the hotel's fault, but the general area around the hotel is not that great. I chose the hotel because it was very close to why I was there. That being said, I didn't have any issues.

They have done a nice job restoring this building. It is clean and restively quiet. The staff are excellent.

Our key cards would keep demagnetizing so we had to keep getting them rescanned down at the lobby. The coffee was not very strong.

The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and we felt safe during our stay. The staff were very friendly and readily helped us when needed.

Basic breakfast, basic towels. This isn't a luxury hotel, but if you appreciate old-fashioned, and want to be in the center of old Laredo, it's a great choice.

We had a fifth-floor corner room with many windows (which open), looking out over the plaza. Very interesting historical building. Large room, comfortable. Met the owners, who are quite hands-on; staff is also great. Excellent location in the center of old downtown, very walkable. Felt safe, half mile from the border.
