What i didn't like is the luck of entertainment. Ritz should have provided live music and other evening activities for guests to enjoy.

The location was extremely beautiful and from the time that we arrived everyone was so generous and nice. We love Ritz Carlton resort. I highly recommend this place to everyone and this location of Hawaii. We are definitely coming back.

The guys operating the beach facilities were OK but not up to the bar of the rest of the staff. Choice of food, in terms of time and variety, was less than expected, though that perhaps was because it was off season or we didn't explore the room service. Also, the resort is at the end of effectively a dead end road, making it less convenient if one plans to go places.

The room was quiet, clean, and comfortable. The balcony was particularly enjoyable. The view was serene, day and night, perfect for vacation. The resort has more than we need. Most staff are friendly; they don't ignore guests as in other places. The staff we actually interacted with always addressed us by name. Laura in Ulana, Nick in Banyan, and especially all in the valet parking left us with lasting memory of exceptional services.

We had to check our bills thoroughly as there were several occasions we had been billed for additional items or items we had already paid.

We had our rooms upgraded to include fireplaces. Loved the amenities.

One incident. We came back in the evening after a full day out and found our room door was completely unlocked and open. Luckily nothing was missing. Likely housekeeping oversight didn’t lock the door properly. We notified front desk immediately but hotel management didn’t really follow up on it. We let it go as it was no harm no foul.

Food at the pool was not that good. Location is very far from most of the other things to do on the island.

Beaches nearby was great. Kapalua area is beautiful and so is the resort. Close to golf courses and few restaurants.

We were initially given our suite which neighboured the elevator,unfortunately the noise of the elevator going up and down was quite bothersome.We complained and were given a quieter suite. It’s unfortunate as I’m sure others may have experienced the same problem. Having to move rooms was an annoying and time consuming.

The property is beautiful as is the setting. The lobby area and the view from the veranda was fabulous, and very cozy with multiple fire pits. Our partial ocean view room had a wonderful view as well.

Honestly nothing. Ok, I wish they sold the diffuser that has the “scent” of the hotel at the gift shop instead of only online. It smelled so good, I found myself pausing to deeply inhale while walking through the lobby.

We were upgraded to the club lounge and it made the stay. The club room was fabulous with almost too many good choices for food and drink. We also visited the spa. It was a first for my husband and he was impressed, but I think it says more that I have been to MANY spas and this was truly the best. Like if I won the lottery, I would fly there just for the spa. Our room was bigger than our first apartment with an enormous bathroom. Even though our view was mostly of the resort, it was still a beautiful scene and we had a wedge of ocean to watch from our lanai. I also took advantage of the complimentary yoga classes and the well maintained walking paths. I only wish we had stayed longer!
