Had to go to front desk to get TP, twice..and take my own garbage out, went and got a black trash bag as I did not want to sit it outside my door (as others did😨)

Only complaint was about 12 hours prior to checkout our air conditioner stopped really working. It maintained around 71-73 through the night but started to climb prior to checkout but the maintenance guy was super helpful. I also wish you would have pool access for day of check out - made it interesting to try to enjoy our last day at the beach and then change after being on the beach all day.

Location is fantastic. Loved being on the beach access floor. Perfect size for a family and beachy enough to be beachy but nice enough that it didn’t feel “rundown” by the beach weather.

Everything was good. Just one small problem with our key card to our room being disabled about an hour and a half before check - out. We were trying to pack the car at the time. I understand its very busy on the weekends.

Beds hard and if you like good AC, go somewhere else. Spoke to front desk multiple times and told best it could do. Unable to switch rooms, room stayed around 78-80 when moving around in room but was given a fan that helped. Tried to tell cleaning staff about changing bed sheets and told we dont do that. Was there for a week and not offered a cleaning/turn down

Overall we enjoyed our stay at Sea Ranch, but you can tell the facility is aging & needs some up keep . We had a few hiccups , but the staff was pretty quick to address the issues . The room & facility overall are showing their age & wear as well as they stopped giving complimentary pens as they have for the last at least 7 years. You can also tell the cleaning staff are rushed to turnover rooms as small details / corners do not get fully cleaned or vacuumed . I would stay here again if there was another sale as it works well for families or those that cannot walk a long distance to the beach to set up their tent / beach chairs .

Overall we enjoyed our stay at Sea Ranch, but you can tell the facility is aging & needs some up keep . The easy access to the beach with wagon filled with snacks , chairs , & beach toys, lobby restroom ( toddler potty breaks without going all the way back to your room) , & being close to a lifeguard chair are some of the best parts of Sea Ranch . Also , the location in Kill Devil Hills is convenient to many attractions & good local food. I would stay here again if there was another sale as it works well for families or those that cannot walk a long distance to the beach to set up their tent / beach chairs .

Condensation in the room made the ceiling drip water. The room had an unpleasant smell, even after spraying Febreze, it never went away. We were hardly in our room, only to sleep, shower and things of that nature.

Close to the beach and other amenities. The Beachside Bistro was nice.

The furniture is old and the throw pillows were dirty. The coffee table was very worn as well. There was trash left under the sink and the refrigerator was dirty.

AC wasn’t working and building should be sprayed for bugs.

Perfect location and the restaurant is wonderful. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Thomas at the front desk saved our vacation by helping us get another room in the separate building that did have AC (we were on the 5th floor oceanfront building and it was 90° in that room) and they even worked with us on a partial refund. It wasn’t the room we wanted and paid for but at that point AC was more important than a view. And we were extremely appreciative of that!

The room could be cleaner. The vents in the bathroom were completely clogged with dust. There were some things still on the floor that weren't vacuumed up. Multiple items were still dirty in the kitchen drawers.

The location is excellent. The size of the room was impressive. The view is absolutely beautiful.

The air conditioning wasn't working properly and I am thankful that we brought a fan with us. It stayed around 83 in our room for both nights. The pool was closed due to some issues so that was a little upsetting but not so much that I wouldn't stay again.

This was my first time for going to OBX and I really enjoyed my experience. We stayed on the top floor ocean front and the view was perfect from the balcony. All the staff we encountered on our stay were super friendly and helpful.

The room could use better carpet. Better decor. The entry door didnt close or open easy. Rubs against the door frame kind of a pain. Ice machine was broke but the lobby one was avail.
