Nothing comes to mind except maybe that we were on the second floor. Not good after you drink one of their complimentary Pain Killers. But that was just the luck of availability.

The staff. There is nothing I can say about the staff except fantastic! From the girl in the office that helped us carry our bags to our room, to the people that continually keep the grounds clean, to the personable bar tenders. They have bottled water in the office area and anything you need. Soap, sunscreen, shampoo. Everything except toothpaste which of course we forgot. Lol. The room was comfortable with great air conditioning, a sofa and a kitchenette. Also all the coffee that you need.

It was a bit basic and cramped and the AC unit was very noisy and had to be switched off at night to allow you to sleep

The property was adorable and centrally located. We were able to walk to just about everything! The room itself was cute, clean, and set back from the street and bar so you never really hear anything! Staff is excellent and friendly and we had whatever we needed at our fingertips!

Loved the balcony, the comfortable bed and kitchenette was nice. Nice touches with makeup remover wipes and coffee creamers and water in fridge. Great martinis in bar!

The room was small but immaculate! Very helpful staff and friendly. Garrett and the housekeeper made us feel at home. Then the Rum bar, a full bar, was a nice way to end each night.

The Speakeasy Inn and Rum Bar is located in a quieter part of Old Town Key West, but only a short walk away from the festive night life Key West is known for. Our super cute room with a kitchenette, king bed separated from kitchenette by the wardrobe (almost like a private bedroom), a tiny sitting area and a private bath. It was everything we needed and more! Kitchenette was stocked with different coffee and tea pods for the Keurig, kitchenware, fridge, microwave and toaster. Bathroom included toiletries and towels, and hairdryer. We also found beach towels in the wardrobe which we used for our day at Zachary Taylor State Park and our trip to Dry Tortugas/Fort Jefferson National Park, as both parks have beach areas. The speakeasy/rum bar was a fun place to relax, with or without a drink, inside at the bar or outside on the front porch, after a day of sightseeing. We especially liked the front porch in the evenings after strolling through town to wind down before bed. Our room came with parking for 1 car, just around the corner from the Inn. Keyless entry was an added bonus too! And, lastly, The Captain, the house cat, greeted us every morning by our door. Staff was awesome and very attentive, grabbing us new towels and extra water whenever we needed. This charming spot did not disappoint...We will definitely be back!

Expect some street/bar noise but not excessive. Roosters were the most disruptive but part of the Key West charm. Only minor complaint was no drawers/dresser in the room so couldn’t really unpack things that couldn’t be hung in the armoire.

Excellent location - south end of Duval Street is more calm (quieter) than the north end. We were on the 2nd floor and had nice chairs on which to eat breakfast. Nice, small kitchen with Keurig and plenty of coffee options.

Very nice room with private patio. The position of the accommodation was perfect, right on Duval Street. The bar serves very good cocktails, the employees were very nice and gave us all the information we needed. Also they have a very friendly cat that comes in and out of the bar, who stayed with us while we enjoyed our drinks. We’ll definitely come back.
