Only one recommendation, there were no side tables or lamps on the outside of the beds. I had to bring in the bathroom stool for ease.

There were no faults to be found! Five stars The restaurant which serves breakfast was so good! Bread pudding French toast! Great pairing❤️

The yellow chairs and exterior of the hotel is quaint and beautiful. The staff was so cordial and accommodating. Our adult daughters were shining on a trail ride at the stables in the nearby state park. They allowed us a later check out so the girls could shower afterwards before heading into Sedona for shopping. The beds and pillows were fresh and the most comfortable we’ve ever had in a hotel. My husband and I enjoyed the privacy and cleanliness of the swimming pool while our girls were horseback riding. We will definitely stay here again if we are in the area.

This little hotel is fantastic! The staff was very friendly and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable with beautiful decor. The giant walk-in shower with gorgeous tile was an unexpected bonus.

Only issue is that we could hear the person in the room above heavily stomping around as we were going to bed. Maybe they were trying to get their steps in? Not a big deal, we brought earplugs.

Whenever we stay in Cottonwood, we try to stay here at the Tavern Hotel. Front desk staff is always friendly and helpful, and the location can't be beat. Our rooms were exceptionally clean. I believe the owners of the hotel also run several of the restaurants in town and the food is always excellent, especially breakfast at Crema and pizza at Bocce.

Exceptional place within a stones throw of the lovely local town, with plenty of lovely bars and restaurants. There is a free big carpark outside the front and also one around the back. We had a lovely double room booked, but the kind owner upgraded us to one of the cottages next to the pool, which was incredible. We were able to park our car outside. Breakfast was a $5 voucher for Crema, across the road and the food was really good. We also ate twice at Colt and again the food was really good. The hotel doesnt have its own restaurant or bar but there are more than enough 1 minute away. There is a very small gym near the lovely pool area.

I loved everything.

We arrived and the only red flag we had was when we checked in. The lady was not as friendly as I would have expected and she made a comment about renting by a third party. Other than that, I felt the stay was amazing. The expectations were above and beyond. The hotel included every amenity possible and I look forward to staying next year.

It was a little noisy out in the hallway early in the morning, and you can hear doors closing. But most hotels are the same in this regard.

Beautifully appointed small boutique hotel right off the main strip in Old Town Cottonwood. Very nicely done with great touches right down to the Salt and Stone toiletries. And complimentary bottled water! The nightly rate was a little steep, but we felt that the free drink coupons for the Tavern Grille and the $5 discount coupons for Crema made up for it. Cute little firepit out front to hang out and visit. Will definitely stay there again!
