How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

The room feels dated and small. AC doesn't seem to work, but thankfully, it's not hot outside, so it doesn't bother us. There was some kind of event going on, so the hallways were really noisy.

Verified reviewThe bed was comfortable. The room looked nice, though the flooring wasn't attached well. Staff was nice.
The noise level was very high until the pool closed. The hotel appears to have been a former brand known for their Holidomes back in the 70s, so all the rooms are enclosed facing the pool and breakfast area, thus making it very loud. The eggs at breakfast were the worst I've ever had. The sausage was not very good either. Even though the room "looked" nice, there were quality issues : flooring was loose, a/c didn't cool well, not all bulbs worked, there was a used washcloth in the bathroom.

Verified reviewThe overall energy of the family working/ owning it was amazing. They are welcoming and friendly. The pool looked so fun with a slide and a deep end. The room was perfect for a comfy night to sleep.
The room was clean, but I did do a wipe of the chairs and desk prior to using it. I think a little extra look/ wipe of all counter and seating spaces from the housekeeper would make this hotel my perfect 10

Our room smelled every time someone flushed a toilet. AC regulator was busted so we had barely any AC and it was hot in the room all weekend.

It was ok it did the job but would been more comfortable and nice if once entering the room you could tell it wasn't cleaned properly and had old stained up sheets on the bedding which wasn't a good feeling to sleep on.

Quality inn University, et al., $50. Promotions for booking room for 2 days or more are fraudulent due to: Front desk Supervisor: Emma and Ceo Manager Tom. Never received $50 gift card or able to purchase room on approximate - 7/4/2025. Purchased 2 nights In duration. room 146 was booked online for $74. plus $50 Deposit. taxes, fees, are Included, which brings total of $136.15. Overly charged homeless disabled Individual $150., More than Once. Made several complaints regarding hotel motel Issues. Staff was very uncompliant. and negligent to the needs of a homeless disabled U.S. citizen. Which plays into pre-existing disabilities. Guest is totally disabled. (ADA) Americans with disability Act. Please show no deliberate Indifference. 42 usc sec. 1983. Seems like Staff working seem to be squatters in nature. Staff workers using Terroristic Acts against U.S. Citizens on American Soil while operating in the United States. Dear Guest, I see the reservation that you made was on the app online prices are not controlled by the hotel and at the time of arrival there was no evidence of military id was show to offer a discount that the hotel honors all the veterans of the united states plus you get only one discount at a time either military or the member rate that you already got we cannot stack discount on discount and coming to being racist you were put in the DNR list for your ratial slurs toward the employees during your stay as you already mentioned that the employees seems squatters already proves that you in fact you have used ractial slurs against my employees they complained as well seems they were correct people who have a great job cannot be squatters they work hard for a living about the $50 gift card promotion that is run by the franchise you were handed the customer care number to call and they will help you with that well the demands that you made at the front desk for the gift card i can see on the footage were extremely disrespectful and its not the front desk fault if the franchise is running a promotion and even the hotel could not help you as it does not fall under their jurisdiction for the gift card only franchise handles that Seems like they have done their job correctly and with guest like you who are racist against my employees are never welcomed here.
