The only thing that was confusing when I drove up into the parking space- I wasn't completely certain I was in the right location. The porch light has a sensor that came on after I got out of my car and walked toward the door. Then it was a piece of cake. :)

The house was impeccably clean and very quiet. What I loved most is when I got out of my car the first thing I heard was the creek. It was late when I arrived and I was a little uncertain about my check in but when I used the device to check in and asked a question the host answered me almost immediately! I would certainly stay here again.

Loud noise in the room due to ventilation system. We couldn’t operate this ourselves. Breakfast options were very limited.

Very tastefully decorated, with eye for details and comfort. The apartment has everything you need. Good communication.

The description about “breakfast included” created expectations that were not met. We stayed for 3 nights. When we checked in, our room had 3 coffee pods and 4 individual creamers for the in room Keurig machine but it was never replaced, So we couldn’t use that. There was a bag of coffee in the pantry but no creamer or condiments. The description of available food was incorrect. Having said that, the host was very sweet and tried to correct things. We would definitely stay there again. Hopefully they will work out those things.

The remodel was very nice. The home decor was beautiful. The bed was very comfortable. Our loft room was small but very cozy. The whole place had a homey feel.

Loved everything! One small suggestion, to add a lamp to the bunk bed room in the sandalwood suite.

Beautiful and clean, with every detail thought out. The price was great, especially for such a beautiful place. So glad to have found this place! We will be staying again the next time we come to Boone!

The kitchen was portly stocked with lots of opened food stuffs. Lack of essentials like artificial sweetners, butter, and other simple things was a bit disappointing. We shared the house with one other very nice traveler but we were booked right across the hall from each other and privacy and quietness was diminished. Other rooms on separate Flores would have been great!

The bed frame did not seem very sturdy and shook a little but not when you were sleeping.

Breakfast was fine but simple and you had to make it yourself. This is not a B&B with a big breakfast. I really liked the outdoor fire pits. The common spaces were great and I was the only one that used them. Most others stayed in their rooms when they were at the property .

The accessibility to Blowing Rock & Boone Towns. The scenic Blue Ridge Parkway and Grandfather mountain, with other attractions. Forgot to mention that the pics that is on the Booking.com are exactly what is on the property.

There was nothing about the property I disliked.

The Wanderer is beautiful, on a very wooded lot by the Blue Ridge Parkway. It’s very quiet and serene with little to no outside noise. It’s very comfortable rooms with private bathrooms are made with a visitor’s comfort in mind.

It was a little loud at times with others in common area. Seems all noises travel through walls/doors. They did stop at 10pm. We stayed in the Superior family room. It was beautiful… bathroom was not sufficient for the three we had staying (my sister, niece and I). I don’t see it working for 6 as it’s advertised. Shower was super small. Sure couldn’t shave our legs :/~ Badet was awesome until it got too hot! Couldn’t get back to cold water. Water seems super hot in sink as well. my sister stayed on bottom bunk… she said it had no head room so hard to move. I stayed on queen bed… great mattress! I was sick for one day so it slept really good. I was thinking of renting for me and my hubby but he would not fit in that shower at all! 

Great location… close to everything! It was beautiful and everyone was so nice. Owners were very helpful with all the questions we had and responded quickly. If we stay again… we would rent two rooms in front entrance… for more privacy and better bathroom. Only we wouldn’t have the great windows like the area we stayed in. I would however recommend this place to stay for a couple… just not a family with kids. Unless they wanted to rent the whole house for everyone 👍🏻

The hot water could be a little spotty, and the parking wasn't always easy for a large truck.

Pretty much everything. The whole house was beautiful. The area it was located in is gorgeous. The room was clean and very well put together. And it wasn't too far from App State.

The stay was amazing. This is my second time staying here with my family and it was really nice. It can be weird staying with strangers in the same house, but everyone is very friendly. My children really enjoyed their time at the house.

No yard at all and parking was tight when house is totally booked. Paper products were low to none. We had to go purchase toilet paper. There was only a partial roll in our bathroom. No facial tissues.

Wasn’t aware at first the kitchen/common areas were shared but it worked out just fine.

Location close to Watauga Med Center (~8 min) and downtown Boone, also close to Blowing Rock. Beautiful forest surroundings. Very pristinely clean and perfectly decorated. Looks just like the photos. Highly recommended. It is a B&B style and other guests share the common area/kitchen. Private bathrooms in the rooms. Pancakes and eggs provided- recommend going to a market to get some essentials if planning to cook other meals. Truly Enjoyed my 2 week stay!
