Amazing location, very easy to reach several beaches, plus you can watch sea turtles from the balcony. The host has always been available and very kind to us. We look forward to come back!

The only thing I don't like about "This Place Is Different" is that we had to leave again, but we'll be back.

There are few places that exceed the perception the PR and marketing creates. However, this is one where no matter how enthusiastic you are after looking at everything online and in the promotions, it exceeds in its delivery. This is the 2nd time we have stayed here, and will be back for a 3rd. The location, the view, the turtles, the interior decorating and quality of the condo, the bed, the huge screen TV's, the amenity of the kitchen, the opulence of the bathroom, the high end appliances, the amazing welcome, the pool and BBQ's, the balcony, the linen, every details is thought through and excellent. It's just such a great place. Rick and team, thank you.

Nothing! But it could use a cozy, plush blanket for the couch (and a heavier/weighted blanket for the bed).

It took me 3 hours to find the best place and I landed on this one because of the reviews. They were exceptional. I also chose this place because of the decor; I wanted something unique and not the same old thing. This place was exceptional. The bed was so soft and the pillows were perfect and in abundance, which I appreciated. Rick, the host, had thought of everything. The welcome gifts really set the tone and I’m just SUPER blown away by the whole experience. This place had so many little surprises to it that I won’t ruin it for the rest of the people. Book this because it’s REALLY GOOD. And the view is top notch plus the location is perfect for in between Lahaina and Kihei and close to the airport. It’s also very quiet, which I also look for in a property. Good job Rick! All of the little touches, attention to detail and cleanliness did not go unnoticed.

Loved everything.

Absolutely everything. View was amazing, condo has everything you need and Rick was wonderful. We have rented many condos in Ma’aelea and this one is the best. We love the location as it is central to everything. Highly recommend renting this condo.

The condo is renovated and beautifully appointed, everything is of high quality. The views are great and the lanai is situated such that it blocks the wind, which is prevalent in Maalaea. For us the location was terrific, situated midway between Lahaina and Wailea, and a short walk to the wharf where all boat excursions now depart from. There's nothing else in Maalaea so this may not be for everyone but within a half hour drive you access everything from sports to dining. The owner, Rick, is a great communicator who was very responsive to calls and texts.

One thing to know is that Ma’alaea can be windy, but the pool is sheltered and we were always comfortable sitting on the balcony.

The apartment was comfortable, immaculate, and tastefully decorated. The building has an elevator. Rick has thought of everything that travelers might need for a wonderful vacation. The view from the balcony was amazing and the pool was a very comfortable temperature. There is a wide expanse of grass for kids to play on and a sandy beach and park are just a short walk down the street. The central location makes it easy to drive to anywhere on the island.

the outside of the building is somewhat dated but the property including the pool are well maintained

the unit is beautifully decorated with new modern appliances, plumbing fixtures, complete kitchen equipment including a variety of spices and condiments. Excess blankets, sheets, towels in the closet. two high end tvs. item for the beach, toiletries including first aid kit, sanitary napkins, disposable tooth brushes. There was an assortment of cookies and soft drinks provided. The host basically though of everything and takes a personal interest in the property

Honestly, there was nothing we didn't like.

incredible view! amazing to wake everyday to the bay, and listen to the waves at night. Extremely clean when we arrived, probably the first time I've stayed somewhere and felt the cleaning fee was justified. Rick, the host was very nice and available to answer all questions. Even had a gift basket with Hawaiian treats waiting for us! Best place my wife and I have ever stayed. Definitely would recommend and if I make it back to Maui, I'd stay again. This place really was different lol. Even had a temperature controlled toilet and bidet for the full luxury experience! There was also snorkeling gear, beach chairs and umbrella, ice chest, everything you could need. After all that I was maybe most impressed that the host considered everything we might've forgotten and had combs, toiletries, bath sponges, mini bottles of Tabasco and mayo. I couldn't think of anything I'd need on a week vacation that wasn't provided.

The host Rick’s attentive and caring approach made our experience truly special. We were welcomed with a nice gift basked full of treats for us. He checked in regularly to ensure everything was going smoothly. His genuine concern for our comfort was evident, and we felt well looked after. The condo was well equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It was clean, cozy, and thoughtfully stocked, it truly felt like a home away from home. The icing on the cake was the amazing view from the condo. Waking up to that scenery was a highlight of our trip.

Not much, indeed nothing. It is excellent fropm the initial booking communication, through to tips and pleasantries during outr 10 day stay.

I am reluctant to write too much becuase the host may put the price up or if people knew how good it was, we may not be able to get it next time. But to cut a long story short, the bed is amazing, the turtles in the afternoon are fun to watch, the appliances are incedable, the art works and attention to detail are of the highest standard. I have never been to a condo whihc has quality cutlery before, steak knives that work, an ice cream scoop that does what a good one is suppose to do. Did I mention the bed? The bathroom has a few wow factors, not leats of all the tiling. Did I mention the appliances? The balconey is a great place to sit and watch life go by from. Did I mention the BIg Screen TV, not 1 but 2. We hardly watched then because sitting on the balcony is so good, but when we did, they are great, much better than was expected and so many channels - condo's don't come with what this one does. As owner says, "this place is different". I could go on, but then I'd leave nothing to discover - there is plenty more I could say, but I'll leave it to you to enjoy and be wow'd by.

Everything was perfect. Upon entering the apartment, we were welcomed with a thoughtful gift basket of local snacks in the kitchen and a handwritten card and that set the tone for our entire stay. Rick is an amazing host. Communicative with impeccable attention to detail. The apartment was equipped with everything from kitchen equipment to snorkeling gear, beach chairs and umbrellas, well stocked bathroom amenities etc etc. It felt like a second home from beginning to end! We also enjoyed the pool, slept on the lounge chairs and saw turtles almost everyday (thanks for the binoculars too!). We absolutely loved the food trucks in Kihei and it took about a 15-25 mins drive to the food trucks. It was not an inconvenience at all since we had our car and went to Kihei almost everyday but good to keep in mind for those not renting a car.

Great place to stay with a great view of the bay. The condo has many extra touches to give it a high-end feel. The location is excellent for visiting the entire island. We could walk to the harbor for the snorkeling tour and restaurants. The host was very helpful.

There wasn’t a single thing that that we didn’t like.

We had such great contact with Rick, and it had absolutely everything we needed and more! There wasn’t a single thing lacking and was better than even expected. Everything was very clean and such nice touches, like recognizing our anniversary, offering local snacks, high end appliances, lovely towels, and providing local snacks. Convenient location and easy access to everything we needed. I would highly recommend!
