Our room did not have a fridge and the room was not serviced ( no prob except no-one to ask for coffee/tea & water replaced. The room on the second floor was fine but too difficult for people our age with luggage we were relocated next morning - great service.

Breakfast was good - something different each day we stayed

I would have liked to have known before arrival that red wine is not allowed.

The chefs were lovely. The breakfast was delicious and the chefs and house manager made us feel most welcomed. We also enjoyed Apollo, the house dog.

    Absolutely nothing.

In town for Jazz Fest. Short bus/streetcar ride or 20-min walk to Sheraton Downtown for shuttle to Fair Grounds. Walking to many excellent dining and shopping options in the verdant neighborhood of Lower Garden District. If looking for quietude away from Bourbon St, check out Terrell. Friendly staff (& cat). Hearty breakfast.

Our room in the "annex" was quite small and and fairly simple. The in-room coffee service was undersupplied. Being on the second floor was quiet but we had to negotiate luggage up a flight of stairs. Not a big deal since the rest of the property, was so lovely.

The house is beautiful and furnished with antiques and luxurious fabrics, carpets, china, silver etc. An enclosed brick courtyard with vegetation, fountain and a friendly cat was a very pleasant spot to read or chat. But the star of the show was the breakfast. Gourmet quality, lots of southern/local special dishes.

This is a gorgeous bed and breakfast hidden within a stately mansion in the Garden District. It is well within walking distance of the older sections of NOLA and very close to the museum district. The staff went above and beyond to see to our needs and the morning breakfast under Crystal chandeliers was beyond elegant. I will stay here again and again and again.
