My one and only thing was the size of the tv. But like why dose the tv need to be bigger? I should be at the beach:)

Location was nice and close to everything. The face that it was just 5 duplexes seems so exclusive. Everything was all new.

I’m sorry we chose this place without being able to see it in person first.

Entire place smelled like wet dog. It was nauseating. Even after we kept the wi does open and fans on- the smell remained. The only bathroom had wood rot and mold. The balcony was dirt and covered in bird poop. The stairs are too steep and unsafe.

Location was great. Price was decent.

    Photos are a little misleading.

The location was perfect, as it was about a 3 minute drive away from everything. Which made getting to and from super convenient. What I am extremely disappointed with, is how misleading the photos are in comparison to what is given. When we arrived and went it, the chalet reeked of dog, which being allergic to them it instantly made me stuffy. Which lead me to feel like there was a lack of cleaning done, because of the pet dander residue stench. We had to open all the windows available just to air out the smell. Which was also an inconvenience, given it was freezing out and raining. There was dog hair all over the stairs and dog hair on the couch, which was disappointing because it says no animals on the furniture, in their policy. We found used hair ties in the bathroom and one in the bedroom area. All of the dishes were dirty except the visible ones, like cups. So we ended up washing everything before using it. Some of the pots had food residue in them, which then told me they also aren’t checking these things when they are doing the after clean. We had to get cleaning supplies to wipe down the counters, tables and cooking surface because it was dirty, which was extra money that we shouldn’t have to spend, and also extremely inconvenient given I was cleaning someone else mess. The microwave was covering the switch to the kitchen lights because they had it pulled so far forward, that the whole first night we thought the kitchen lights didn’t work, and when I messaged them I got no response. It wasn’t until the second night that I was cleaning the counters again and pushed the microwave back and found the switch. Overall, I felt like for how extreme the rules seemed to be, it doesn’t seem like anyone follows them. It was hard for me to stay there with my child, as I felt like I was living in someone else’s filth. There needs to be better quality cleaning done, because it’s borderline unsafe conditions.

The occasional wood beetle in the bathroom or on the walls wasn't very pleasant. I also had a larger on underneath of the baseboard heater next to the sofa. The only other issue was that the bathtub trickles water out of it even after you plug the drain. Therefore, if you take a bath, you have to hurry. Also, I thought that I would have a view of the ocean from my Chalet, but there were trees in the way. That's ok, though.

I didn't eat any of the breakfast bars or drink any of the coffee. I brought my own granola bars and bought my own food so that I didn't use it. The Chalet was really nice! I LOVE the location. It was easily accessible with the keycode to the door. The LED candles on the mantle, on either side of the TV, make for a very calm and relaxing evening when someone is trying to detox their mind from their very hectic every day life. I truly appreciate how nice the place was.

N/A - would absolutely stay again!

Tidal House was incredibly pet friendly & everything, from receiving the confirmation email, to check in, to checkout was absolutely seamless! They had a blanket for our couch surfer & toys in a basket. Not only do they send instructions via email, on the day of check in, I also received a text with the door code and a number to text, making check in smooth. The place was quiet & calm and both dogs weren’t triggered by unknown noises bc of it.
