How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.

Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

We were warmly welcomed by our host, Jose, right from the start. The location is excellent, very close to everything we needed. We had a wonderful time during our stay this past week!

I had a great stay at this property! The house was very clean, well-maintained, and equipped with all the necessary amenities to make the stay comfortable. It’s located in a lovely, quiet neighborhood with easy access to downtown Miami. Another highlight is how close it is to the Cuban bairro. José, the host, was also very friendly, welcoming, and told us a lot of cool places to visit throughout the entire stay. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Miami and would love to stay here again! Thank you José for welcoming us so well in your Sanctuary! Our toddler will have such good memories from there 🥰

Maybe slightly more space for luggage - so remove the shelving unit from the living room

I hesitate to say because I want to keep it all to myself. This place is totally how is advertised: a nice small cozy one bedroom. Great area, all the amenities that you need in the place, and then some. And a really good host nearby if you need anything. I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Miami if I was single or a couple.

For a family of four, the kitchen space was a bit narrow, especially for cooking, but it wasn't a big problem. :)
Location in a quiet, green, pleasant area of private houses. Very warm and kind host. Small, enclosed yard where children could play safely. We were able to keep the rented car in an enclosed area, in the yard. Good and stable wi-fi. Overall, the price/quality ratio is very good.

Our stay was fantastic! The host was truly amazing—knowledgeable about the area and always available to offer recommendations. The place was comfortable, with thoughtful touches that made us feel right at home. the host provided all the essentials—plenty of toiletries and a fully equipped kitchen that had everything in case we needed to prepare meals.

It was a wonderful stay The host Mr Jose was a wonderful respectable person welcoming warm hearted and helpful. I went with my daughter. We felt at home. We checked in very late and he was there waiting for us around midnight. The place was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen contained all needed utensils and complimentary coffee and tea. The room was very comfortable and quiet. The bathroom was very clean with very good flow of hot water when needed. The neighborhood was very safe and classy and the garden was very nice where you can have a nice relaxation. The host was very helpful in giving advices about places to go and directions. We received the deposit immediately before leaving the premises without any delay. I recommend the place to any one going to Miami. All attractions are reachable from the there. We enjoyed the stay and extend our thanks to our wonderful host. Many thanks

The AC are noisy and the one in the bedroom is not possible to turn off. As the AC from the bedroom comes from the owners side of the house, the smell comes to the Airbnb side.
All good starting with the helpful host, location is calm and near Calle 8 and Brickell. The apartment has about everything we needed.

Everything about this house is perfect! The location in a quiet area, the private parking inside the gate, and the house that has everything you need for your stay in Miami. The interior of the apartment is very welcoming and makes you feel at home The owner Jose welcomed us warmly and gave us all the necessary information for the stay. unfortunately the AC in the bedroom is controlled by the other part of the house and cant be turned off. it was a bit cold and wasnt necessary needed from our side.

The only small issue was that the AC in the rest of the home was not connected to the main bedroom. So it got a bit warm in the bedroom.
The decor made the Airbnb feel very comfortable and inviting. We had everything we needed, and a private driveway so we didn’t need to pay for overnight parking.
