Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesNo microwave in room. Room 428 had a leaky refrigerator. Our disappointment was the staff failure to assign adjoining rooms. I requested them at the time of booking. No response from the hotel. I called the night before to ensure the rooms were adjoined they told me I had to call the next day. I felt I was getting the run-around. At check-in they said there were no adjoining rooms available. We were assigned rooms down the hall from one-another on the 4th floor. We never saw anyone else enter or exit rooms near ours. It had a negative impact on our stay.
Everything . Nice hotel. The breakfast offered options to please everyone. The breakfast staff were awesome.

United StatesFirst room we were given had a little bit of mold. Told the front desk staff and they immediately changed our room to another. No issues in the new room and everything was very clean.
The breakfast had a huge variety of foods to pick from. Kids loved the pool table. Staff were extremely friendly.

United KingdomToilet got blocked which is a common problem at many USA hotels. USA toilets don't seem to be very well designed. Flashing light on smoke alarm in room was slightly annoying.
Modern. Very clean. Comfortable bed. Location for Kings Island Amusement Park. Just off I-71. Safe area.

United StatesThe elevator was so cold it was like being outside I’m guessing a boiler was down because the pool was really cold and that was one reason of picking the hotel for my grandkids the hallways were cold It would have been nice it knowing I was checking in they would have turned my heat on in my room It was 56 degrees when we walked in
The breakfast was exceptional

United StatesI'm reluctant to say anything negative because I think this is a fine hotel and our problem was probably pretty unique. The only issue was that our room (323) had a pretty strong odor of sewer gas near the door and in the bathroom. I thought maybe a p-trap had run dry in one of the pipes so I tried running water in all the fixtures, but that didn't solve it. We arrived late with kids and the hotel parking lot was full, so I didn't even bother to complain or switch rooms. We were only staying one night. I just ran the bathroom fan and the window ac blower all night to try and circulate the air out and away from us as we slept. We survived. I tried to explain the issue to the front desk as we checked out but I'm not sure the message got across.
Overall a good experience. Clean facilities, friendly staff, comfortable beds, convenient location.

United StatesThe beds are SO uncomfortable. I would have been better off sleeping on a cot. Pillows were not great either.
The hotel is close to restaurants and landmark places like great wolf lodge and kings island. The staff were friendly and welcoming, especially the woman at breakfast. Which while we’re on the subject, was pretty good for a hotel continental breakfast.

United StatesThe bathroom was clean, but the door didn't actually close or lock and the shower door was crooked, so it made the floor pretty wet. Small things but annoying when you have little kids. There was a really weird smell in the room and the bathroom smelled gross, but it felt clean, at least. We did wish there were options for non-dairy for breakfast. My kids have a lactose allergy and we didn't see anything except 2% milk. Not a huge deal, just not great for their tummies. Coffee was weak, but that's to be expected at most hotels honestly.
We really liked how easy the staff made it to get checked in and settled. We arrived close to midnight and they were waiting for us with all our details. The room was fine. Average size and needs. No microwave, but the lobby had one for ease of use when needed. There was a tiny fridge, just enough room for some water bottles and juice for the kids. The breakfast options were great! The pancake machine was fun, the kids loved watching them being made, and the topping options were vast. Everything tasted good and fresh and they kept it well stocked and clean. We didn't get a chance to use the pool but next time we will for sure because it looked fun! There were lots of ice machines and the one in the lobby area actually had a water bottle refill station, which was perfect since we brought our own bottles to fill. Highchairs and boosters were available to use during breakfast too, great since we were traveling with littles. There was a coffee bar with lots of fun options for coffee, tea, and cocoa. Loved that!

United StatesOnly thing I did not care for, I had to go downstairs to use the microwave but staff explained to me it was due to eliminating the exposure of radiation. Totally understandable.
I enjoyed everythin, no complaints. Staff provided expectational customer service and were always there if I needed them. The facilities and my room were very clean. Location is very safe and has lots of restaurants and activities in the area. I will definitely be staying again in the future.
