Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Bed was a little soft for me, but that's a personal choice. Same with the pillows. The floors were a little crunchy but we were at the beach the whole time so we definitely added some sand to that. Pool is very small.
Showers were nice, good water pressure, lots of outlets, hooks and cubbies for your clothes. Mini fridge in room. Hairdryer in bathroom. We had plenty of towels. We were on the backside of the hotel so it was very quiet. Good location, close to the highway and the lake. We never had breakfast at the hotel but they had a very nice spread, lots to choose from.

Breakfast was a disappointment. Coffee, fresh fruit and sweet rolls would be fine. I get the need to have pancakes for the kids but for adults, it wasn't great.
Super clean, upgraded rooms. Pet friendly!

I didn't like that I only got my room cleaned once when I was there, I stayed 4 days and considering the price,I would have liked more housekeeping.

The swimming pool is ok but quite small. The proximity to the interstate is useful but detracts from the aesthetics.

Very friendly and helpful staff. The front desk staff in the afternoon were delightful! Everything was perfect. The grounds were well maintained and there was a nice area behind the hotel to walk and potty my dog.

The fact you gotta pay for wifi is a bit overrated considering I have never stayed in a hotel that you have to pay seperate for wifi services. Honestly I feel the hotel should offer for free. Plus TV channels we're pretty basic when it comes to most other hotels I've stayed in previously.
Breakfast was great! Kiddos, my lady and I all loved the pancake machine! Location was close and convenient!

This location did not have bean bag games or an outdoor fire pit.
The TRU branded hotels by Hilton always provide a great experience for a low price.

The pool was cold.

Breakfast could have been better. Suggest just scrambled eggs. Had some type of Spanish scrambled egg dish. Also maybe one more choice such as biscuits and gravy. No Yogurt. Oatmeal could have been fresh.
Exterior and Interior of the hotel are great. I never stayed at Tru by Hilton and was impressed. Room was very cozy. Beds and bathroom great! Loved the interior design of the furniture in the living room! Beautiful. Thanks for the recommendations on the bulletin board across from the elevators such as places to visit, good restaurants nearby etc.

Food was lukewarm. No one emptied garbage cans from day before. (: Employees need to take care of this.
Pancake machine hardly worked, too quite awhile to get it going. Ice machine drain was clogged. We told Maintenance 2 days ago and it was never fixed. Eggs were chopped too fine, hard to pick up.

Only complaint would be that the pillows sucked. But it seems like every hotel uses the same flat pillows that feel like a giant cotton ball with no support.
The location was convenient (right off I-94). Booked this hotel for a one night stay and had no issues. Room was clean and quiet. Would absolutely book again.

Add possibility to pay for washer and cloth dryer with a card. The water in the pool was too cold so we would want it to be warmer but everything else was perfect👍.
Freshly built or renovated building. Everything clean and shiny . The toiletries like shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, soap, and body lotion were high-quality and available in generous amounts.I would stay here again. And we really enjoyed the gym it had a lot of equipment to use.
