Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaThe place offers no breakfast, only coffee and juice. The juice machine was not working one of the days. Although the place was ok, it felt expensive for the overall quality. It's strange they ask for cash deposit.
The room was clean and nice, the beds were comfy and the wifi worked well.

United States of AmericaPillows could have been softer. Trash cans needed to be a bit bigger as well with extra bags.
Breakfast was simple but filling, with basic items such as cereal, fruit juices, coffee, pastries, and milk available. The hotel itself was clean and service was fast when refills for items such as towels were needed.

United States of AmericaI did not care for the windows shaking when the storm hit long beach at the time, I was waking up every other hour leading up to check out. The room was pretty dusty I woke up every morning congested.
The location of the Vagabond Inn was ideal, it was only a few moments away from the convention I was attending. The hotel consierge were kind to get me into my room quick and easy. I was asked if I needed service to my room when I was out and about & was granted fresh towels and refill of soap and toilet paper.

United States of AmericaParking was a disaster as they do not have enough spots on site. Sat and waited an hour because we were trapped in by a car who wasn’t authorized to be there, and the worker was rude about the situation. Whole thing was a joke. Also, the cleaning was not great, very minimal. Seemed it was rushed when cleaned. You can tell this is independently owned. Lastly, definitely not worth the $415 for two nights. Unfortunately, it was my last resort Won’t be staying here again.
Only stayed here because it was close to the event I was attending.

United States of AmericaManager is a shady dude. He tried to charge me $30 to check in early. I said I'd wait until 3pm. He tried again by bringing it down to $20. Again, I said I'd wait. He only checked me in early (at 12pm) when he saw how many nights I was staying. They require a cash deposit at check in, instead of a credit card, so I had to walk off premises to find an ATM. He had a sign of dumb rules like no more than 3 guests in a double room, no bikes in the room. The WIFI is worthless. I used my phone as a hotshot 85% of the time. The TV channels are confusing (11-2, 11-3, 11-4, 12-1, 12-2...). The aspect ratio on the TV is wrong so a lot of the picture was cut off around the edges to the point where I couldn't read subtitles. The ceiling/floor is super thin and it sounded like elephants were moving furniture above me.
The location is great. Bed, AC, and shower worked. The room was clean when I entered.

United States of AmericaThere was a homeless man was passed out on the sidewalk right in front of the hotel we told the front desk and he said "he's on the government sidewalk it's not my problem" it says a lot about how they care about people. I ended up calling an ambulance because the hotel wouldn't.
