Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaVail Run is quirky, not a typical Vail condo vibe. My daughter called it a little bit flea market, a little bit thrift store. But the staff is friendly, the amenities are good, the location is pretty good and there is a shuttle for complete village access. It is a good Vale value.
Vail Run does not offer food options, but our condo was very well equipped for cooking and we enjoyed making our own breakfasts.

United KingdomDecorations and furniture are a bit dated.
Bus was convenient and ran frequently to town (Juan the driver was fabulous) making it easy to get to and from the gondola. Pool and Hot tub were a great temperature.

Fireplace at the room and kitchen are perfect. I also like the paintings of the skiers on the corridor walls. The staff at the reception was very kind and helpful, espeiall Caroline.

United States of AmericaLobby was meh; while there was good separation between people, there is a lack of walls and real privacy. The value makes up for that and everyone loved the layout.
Great value, friendly staff, convenient location, kitchen very well stocked, room very well stocked with towels and paper goods. Plenty of room to sleep! Loved the layout and separation between parties.

United States of AmericaSmall issue for us as Alaskans that the loft in the room was warm since the fresh air option would have frozen the sofa bed sleeper.
Perfect Vail stay. Kenny at the front desk was great - incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. The shuttle to the lifts worked well. Easy parking, good room for us.

AustraliaThere was little within walking distance from the resort, such as shops, restaurants, access to ski slopes, etc. but we did realise (and accept that) when booking. We had a few hiccups with the shuttle service, generally there was very good flexibility re pickup/drop off times (really appreciated) to driver forgetting pickup from the shops on one occasion and driving off on us before we had the chance to take the skis out of the rear ski racks. However, the service was generally fine, the drivers friendly and helpful and we did also appreciate the wine choice when you got on board after a day of skiing or coming back from the Village. Small thing but would be helpful to have separate trash containers in the room for general waste and recycling.
The rooms were comfortable and well appointed. There were very good amenities, including the pool, hot tub and sauna, and for quick meals, there was a pizza shop in the building. Overall, the building is a little dated but is well maintained and help is always available if you need it. For skiers, there are ski lockers downstairs (no having to take gear up elevators). The resort had its own shuttle service but was also supplemented by the local village bus which gave choices when getting around. Overall, we were very happy with our stay - a good choice for a Vail stay, well priced in an otherwise very expensive town.

United KingdomThere wasn't anything we didn't like.
The apartment had everything we needed and the location was great. The staff were friendly and helpful and the shuttle bus run by the resort was a great bonus which just made life so much easier. They even did a run to the local grocery store which is great if you don't have a car. There is also the free local bus right by the complex. The hot tub was a nice way to relax after a day on the slopes. An affordable option in a town with lots of unaffordable accomodation. Would definitely recommend.

United States of AmericaEntire place looks like it's from the 1980's and needs a facelift. I know that Vail is expensive, but for the price of the rooms, it really should have been updated.
