Smell of damp in one of the 2 bedrooms

They don't do housekeeping daily and their excuse was that they don't have enough linens for all the rooms, and they don't mention that in their website

Unfortunately, the room is dirty with lots of hair on the floor and a dirty toilet. The sheets on the sofa bed were very dirty and there were even old socks inside. It's absurd considering I got a room for 7 people and we would definitely use the sofa bed.

Elevator extremely slow, pull out sofa didn’t work, room above us had lots of little kids who stomped around. 12hrs straight for 2 days. Asked for a partial refund to accommodate and I was denied

The location looked a bit run down in the back.

Good location but the pull out bed was covered in hair when we arrived. It also smelled horrible in the hallway all night long which made its way into our room so we had to crack the windows. Also the breakfast was very slim on options.

Didn't like that we didn't receive a key til our 2nd night there. It should be a way that there is still a way to get in our room without having to disturb the front desk worker. maybe look into being able to access your room through an app like I've seen before you phone let's you have access to ur room. I noticed the house keepers didn't come and tidy the garbage or anything while we stayed there luckily we didn't have much..

I liked how clean the rooms were. The breakfast was great as well.

The bathtub wasn’t clean. Had black short hairs in it and on the sides. Also, breakfast was in crockpots, and the sausage links were still pink on the inside.

Comfy beds. Free upgrade. Cleanliness overall aside from the tub.

The breakfast was the worst I have ever come across. Several times they were out of food and the attendant responded she was not able to put out more because there was no more. They were out of juice our whole stay. We waited 25 min to be greeted and able to check in. Very unprofessional that I had to wait until someone showed up to check us in. We did online check in. The room was comfortable and clean.

The fragrances in the room and under the beds were extremely too strong. I did not request or like the room for Handicapped people. Not sure how that even happened.

No regular coffee in the room. Said they ran out. Didn't like to pay extra for complimentary breakfast and an extra amount for having an extra person when there were 2 queens and a pull out couch. Said 3 person for the room.. we had 4. Which would be the normal at most places.

These are specific things that I wish the hotel industry overall would improve, not just Hawthorne Suites. Please stop using florescent/bright white LED lights in your rooms. It causes migraines for many people with sensitivity (including myself) and the soft/warm LED lights are the same price. We basically sat in the dark during our stay with the bathroom light on for this reason. I wish that there had been actual meat on the hot breakfast bar rather than just sausage gravy, and perhaps some boiled eggs for alternative protein sources. There were three juice options on the machine, but only apple was in operation. The ice machine was not working periodically - just make sure that maintenance on these things is a priority.

Overall the experience was pleasant, with professional staff and a very clean room upon entry. The breakfast was passable, and they allowed our family to smoke at an area with a table and chairs outside.

Walking too hard on the floor may result in a noise complaint depending on who your downstairs neighbors are.

Better breakfast selection, exercise equipment was limited, TV had a few issues kept cutting off in living area.

Room Was great, as far as size and comfort. The sheets had someone else's hair on them (only real complaint). Breakfast was ok limited but ok. Room was clean to a degree minus the hair issue.
