No ice machine, No shower outside to rinse off sand before entering the hotel, there was no entry allowed from the beach boardwalk entrance.

Location was great, beach view and ocean sounds were beautiful, I like that the room had a mini split air conditioner, They provided me with some extra towels for the beach.

Some people walking and talking noise at night usually stopped by midnight.

Location on the beach! Room 10 had the wall of windows to see and hear the water and cool breeze! Never needed the AC. Loved the patio and rooftop to have take-out and take in the sunset.

The bathroom shelf was broken which could have been an easy fix. Hardly worth mentioning really.

Be sure to pre reserve parking. I wished there had been a coffe pot but Starbucks was 500 feet away. The staff was REALLY nice and helpful. Location was so perfect. Big patio with a fire pit and rooftop area. The building is older so when the 2 am bar crowd came home it was very noisy. But it was reasonably priced for the fantastic location.

The rooms were a bit dated but reflected in the room rate. The shower was very small.

Our room was across from the front desk, so of course, there was some noise. There is no coffee or hot cups for coffee. The outdoor bathroom we used prior to checking in needed cleaning. We did not like our bags in the cleaning closet. They need a room for guest luggage and a clean bathroom for guests awaiting check in and departure. The rooms are very small, but very clean!

This is the best and perhaps only hotel on the beach at Marina del Rey. The tables up top were fabulous for watching the sunset. The patio was wonderful for enjoying the breeze and people watching. Enjoyed the front desk persons. Very accommodating. The room was clean.

Small bedroom and bathroom with a dribble of shower pressure, no amenities given. A/C did not work and it was over 30 degrees so extremely hot! Expensive for what you get but you are paying for the location I guess.

Location right on Venice beach behind the walkway and within walking distance to Santa Monica Pier. Lovely spot to watch the sunset away from the crowds on top of the roof.

The gate to the beach keeps slamming and making a loud metallic sound every time somebody exits, especially annoying early in the morning or late at night.

The view, especially if you have an ocean view room is exceptional, but it can also be enjoyed from the deck found on top of the hotel. The daytime receptionist was very friendly and helpful. The fact that they offer reserved parking right in front of the hotel is also a plus.

There were only 3 forks for 4 people and the guy at the front desk couldn't really explain it except "they just disappear sometimes"... He tried his best but we ended up with one extra hopefully unused plastic fork foraged from some other room (quirky but somewhat questionable solution!?) and the existing 3, some we had to take out from the dishwasher. I would have expected all cutlery etc to be in the cupboards when moving into the room, not us having to take all the (cleaned, but not put away) dishes from whatever last guest handled the dishwasher and put them into the cupboards ourselves. That was weird. Also, the terrace door's mosquito net was broken and the terrace door lock too, which wasn't explained to us at all, we had to figure it out ourselves. There was basically a long piece of wood you had to put into the slider tracks of the door from inside so that no one from outside could slide it open. On the ground floor, that's pretty concerning but it worked. Cleaning staff hosed all the outside tables down in the morning completely disregarding that we were trying to have our breakfast there. Just water, everywhere, we basically sat in it. Even the upholstery was just completely drenched, not wiped. That's not how you clean things lady, try a cloth and some soap to wipe things down sometime maybe?

Fantastic location! Absolutely loved the fire table on the ground floor outside and the roof terrace, from which the view was phenomenal. Personnel was super nice, and helped a lot with parking when we arrived. We really appreciated that because parking in the area can be pretty difficult and stressful. We got lucky to get a street parking space right at the parallel main street.

Perfect location on the Venice beach path, a couple of blocks from the Venice Canal Historical District

The hotel has ideal location. It is in residential part of Venice Walk so you are right on the beach but away from the fuss that is on the commercial part of the Walk. I was traveling with family and we would stay here again. Staff was very nice to us. There are a few pubs and restaurants just 2 blocks away.

Unfortunately, the bed was as hard as a rock, and I was very disappointed with the comfort. The bathroom was also a letdown — the shower was so small we could barely fit, and the toilet seat was broken. A great location, but the room really needs some improvements.

The location was perfect — beachfront with amazing views, which was a huge plus!

Great hospitality! The staff were the highlight. Joel and Noel and everyone were so friendly and accommodating. Our room was spacious and clean. Beds were comfy. The location was great, close to everything. Tip: We really enjoyed dinner at Casa12 just two blocks away + Mao's kitchen for lunch, so good. Thanks guys for a lovely stay at Venice.

There's no elevator to take the luggage to the upper level. Although, the staff offered to help with the luggage, and that made a difference.
