As a shared accommodation, our housekeeping team works hard to clean the spaces during their shift, but it’s also the responsibility of our guests to maintain an acceptable level of cleanliness once they’ve finished their work. We understand that situations like the one you described can sometimes happen, and unfortunately, it’s beyond our control. Regarding the credit card information, it’s requested in the same way any hotel would ask for it during check-in. The key difference is that Volcano Hale operates as a self-check-in facility, which allows us to offer more flexible check-in times. Having staff available at all hours simply isn’t feasible, as we rely on guests to check themselves in at their convenience. Thank you again for your review, and we hope you had a great vacation.
