Nothing. Was a very pleasant stay.

Quaint old Victorian house in the heart of downtown. Great host Adrienne. Very accommodating. Nice breakfast and amenities.

    Queen room #5 review

Our room #5 was quite small with no real place to set anything down. The dresser has a TV on top and the bedside tables has lamps on them. No closet to hang anything. Full bathroom in the room was clean but the shower is very small with low water pressure.

The house has charm and is vintage. The bed was comfortable and the bedding was clean. The caretaker was very friendly. We enjoyed the breakfast she made. The mini fridge in the room was nice to have. The window air conditioner was clean and kept the room perfectly chilly.

shower faucet was a little challenging to work correctly.

Breakfast was fine - scrambled eggs and sausages juice, coffee, some pastries, toasted waffles, etc. We like old houses and their aura. This one is late 19th century I'm guessing and had a nice feel to it - like someone's home ... not pretentious or over-decorated.

Liked location, just barely on the edge of town so a nice five min walk in and quiet. Yummy breakfast made when I came downstairs to order.

The bathroom, which featured only a toilet and shower (the vanity sink was in the bedroom) was in a bit of disrepair and not terribly convenient.

The breakfast was homey. Good, hot, plentiful--nothing out of the ordinary, but nothing to complain about. The location was perfect for seeing the sights of Honesdale. The bed was comfortable.

We had one small problem with the shower but had access to another shower so it was not a big deal.

This is our 2nd stay and both times we have felt right at home. The front porch and parlor areas are super cozy. Breakfast is good and was made at the time we requested. Super comfy bed.

Charming and comfortable. Clean and quite. Nice hot breakfast. Coffee and Tea always available. It was 45 minutes from an event we were attending. There were very few places to choose from for a one night stay in that area. But we did not feel like we compromised. It was great.

Andrea, the host, is awesome. There's an incredible hot breakfast every morning and it's cozy everywhere you look. The biggest plus for me was how clean our room was. The bathroom you could have eaten off the floor, and the bed linens were all freshly laundered. I was honestly amazed at how clean it all was. Thank you, Andrea! We'll definitely be back.

Building and decor could use a refresh. Neighboring homes look far more inviting. Trucks go thundering by—light sleepers beware. Bargain brand coffee pods with flavor to match. The sole employee was pleasant while I was there but I received the blistering text below after I phoned 4 times over 4 days (twice to the B&B with no response, twice to parent Wayne Hotel) politely asking if they could mail me the toiletry kit I’d left behind. “ Hi this message is for [my name]. Yea I found your bag. I haven't been getting home until really late and I kept forgetting to call you with all of the chaos and unfortunate events this past week. Now as far as being rude to my manager that's aweful considering I sent your very unimportant bathroom bag to you when we don't normally do that. We put in lost and found until someone claims it or calls then we hold it for them until they come get it. I could do that for you if you'd prefer. S o try it cpp p lent get back to you but my phone was even out for a day. Still no excuse for the way you talked to people”

Comfortable bed with memory foam topper, lots of comfy pillows. Breakfast of scrambled eggs & sausage cooked to order.

The house hasn't been updated much. The owner (who apparently runs all the hotels in the area) hasn't done much other than sprucing it up inside with some paint. I needed to open the window in my room to air it out because the odor of the cleaning product that had been used was overwhelming. The window had peeling paint and had to be propped open with a stick. And then the mini blind couldn't be put back down. The porch furniture was dirty. The driveway into the parking area had badly broken concrete and potholes, and the grounds in that area were littered with trash and cigarette butts. It was difficult to find outlets to charge devices. The fridge in the room was very noisy. The mattress was very old and had a thin (also old) foam topper that didn't do much. I had Room 1, at the front of the house, and the traffic noise was pretty bad.

Adrienne, the manager, was very welcoming and went out of her way to be helpful. The room and bathroom were very clean and the bed linens were excellent.
