The location was wonderful as were the details of service. The raffle for the BMW X7 was terrific. We won four hours and drove everywhere. The rooms were a real surprise. It feels more like a home than a hotel. The half bath along with a full bath was great for my wife to get ready.

The hotel is absolutely stunning, with fantastic facilities and amenities. The staff are absolutely incredible, and everyone was so helpful. Specifically, Devan at the front desk helped us out a lot.

The resort is beautiful. I love the location, closed to the town but not much. You can walk to excellent beaches too.

It was abutting a utility room / area that had a constant high pitched noise that was so uncomfortable we had to close doors to avoid hearing it. We should have asked to move in hindsight (the room was not cheap!!!) AND the shower leaked all over the floor every single time, to the point of saturating an entire towel (dripping!). I did mention it to the front desk upon checkout so they would know - they didn’t volunteer a discount ; )
Staff and property itself and location were fantastic … bikes, etc. Just had two issues with our individual room (suite) that wasn’t.

Liked the location, offerings at breakfast, snack and dinner cheese crackers and grapes. Gift shop was nice. Need larger sizes in stock.

United States of America*Our room refrigerator inside a cabinet tilted forward, and every time we opened the door, something would roll out onto the floor. Also, having a large carpet stain was surprising in light of being such a lovely suite otherwise. Both observations easily fixable:-) My cousins' only negative was having a loose shower door handle in their suite..again, easily correctable. *Our only disappointment was the daily 4:00 "wine and cheese" social that lasted one hour in the library. The only offering set out was one half of a bottle of red port wine--yes, it is technically a fortified wine (often served after dinner) but not one you see served exclusively at this type of afternoon event--along with one small tray of cheese, crackers, and one handful of grapes. Consequently, I asked a restaurant/bar staff member if anyone planned to serve a red or white wine, and he said he would ask his manager. The answer was no, and that I could buy a glass of wine at the bar! Not surprisingly, I did not see anyone participate in this offering.
*During our 3 night visit, the friendliness of every staff member we encountered in the "main lobby" was truly exceptional. Attention to the little details for training housekeeping staff is evident, too. When walking through our hallway, a staff member turned off the vacuum that was being used until we were out of the area. *Since we chose to not take a car or rent one, this property is within a reasonable walking distance to the town. *L'Occitane toiletries were much appreciated! *Gas fireplace was wonderful for our chilly evenings.

No a big deal but certainly worth noting for future stays. The gym is inadequate. Otherwise, not much to complain about... White Elephant is a marvelous destination.
The White Elephant is an elegant, charming, sprawling hospitality center very near the heart of Nantucket. It oozes style and is ideal for those seeking luxury and comfort. The Brant Point Grill is an asset to the overall property.
