The hosts were so friendly and provided wonderful suggestions for area activities and dining. We enjoyed our visits with Carla and Sam over coffee in the mornings. The house cats were cute and friendly. The shared bathroom facilities were always clean. Gabriel the sweet dog greeted us each time we arrived back at the property. The goats, chickens, ducks and sled dogs added to the eclectic atmosphere and made us feel we were having a wonderful and unique experience. Picking blackberries and apples was an unexpected bonus. We read the property description and reviews in advance, making us aware this was a rural home stay. Thanks for a great stay!

The uneven surface walk to the shared bathroom, which was not close to the room. Animals were referred to in the description, but three cats roaming the house seems risky with cat allergies. Due to the cats, we were confined to our room.

Hosts were pleasant General environment in the room was pleasant and clean. Appreciated the table and two chairs in the room. Air conditioner was needed during our time, helpful. Mini frig. Was also helpful during our stay. The shared bathroom was clean at all times. In order to appreciate this booking, you need to like an environment that is eclectic.

Just a charming location. The farm has horses, goats, chickens and a dog. The proprietor was DELIGHTFUL and she gave us tons of good tips for our stay in Bayfield.

It was very much a bed and breakfast style place with just a room. The bathroom was shared with other guests and host, the other amenities (fridge and microwave) were also shared in a common area of the house… Bed and breakfast style isn’t a problem when you are expecting it. But I wasn’t expecting it to be as it was.

It’s in a nice quiet location, hearing the frogs and crickets at night was very peaceful and relaxing. The host was very friendly and helpful for what to see in the area.

Would have preferred a very simple continental breakfast- it's a long way to get breakfast. But I knew that going in.

A VERY interesting place and an owner with an unusual and interesting life story. Ask Carla about this if you have time. Wish we had had more time to visit both Carla and her lovely rural landscape.

The main thing that made the stay uncomfortable for us was the STRONG odor of the 50 pd. bag of dog food on the other side of the wall of our bedroom. Very invasive!

Was not aware we would be sharing all facilities in this cabin with the owners when originally reserved. The bathroom does not adjoin the room rented. Most unfortunate no info given on website that the cabin contains a few cats. So if allergic avoid. When sinuses stuffed up had to give up on staying our second day and was told that Bookings would NOT refund our money and had to pay for 2 days of a one day stay.

Our room was super cozy and comfortable. The place gives off a cute cabin/ranch vibe, and our host was super friendly and accommodating. She gave great recommendations for things to do in Bayfield and the surrounding area. The house pets are friendly too.

This property and the pictures online were very misleading. We were not made aware that there were others staying in the house, whether that was other vacationers or the owner of the home (The owner of the home lives there, so you were never alone) There were 3 cats roaming in the house that we were not made aware of. The inside did have a foul odor to it. The inside and outside of the property were unkept. There were goats roaming outside around your vehicle and dogs on chains and in cages. There was no key to get in or out of the house if you plan on staying out later than 10:30pm. You are expected to ask for a key and you cannot lock the door to your room from the outside. You have one small bedroom and are expected to share all other amenities (shower, bathroom) with others staying at the time and you are given specific color towels to use. We felt so mislead that we gave up the entire cost of the trip ($526) to stay elsewhere in hotels for the week. We did not stay a single night of the 4 that we paid for.
