Warm / Friendly atmosphere and staff. An old country inn with its architecture and charm largely unchanged over time.

It is a charming old New England inn rich with history. This wasn’t our first stay here and it won’t be our last.

We really like this place. No issues.

Does not come with breakfast, but, coffee was excellent. Gardens lovely to relax in. The owner is very nice & we enjoyed a visit with him! The location couldn't be better & we took very long walks. It is a lovely no pressure Inn, in a very quaint village. We have stayed here many times!

    Our stay ended too soon!!

This place has character. We loved it. Rooms are quirky and comfortable. Restaurant is terrific as is the live music. We were lucky to be there in a Tuesday which was open mic night which attracted some really outstanding musicians. Garden was great to sit out in and enjoy some top cocktails. No breakfast at the Inn but Yesterdays is literally next door and does a huge variety of hearty breakfasts and lunches.

People are super friendly. Place was homely and super relaxed and comfortable.

The patio in the back yard was excellent. Also we very much appreciated there being a bar and restaurant service there!

Only very, very minor complaint- the WiFi didn’t work

beautiful building and lovely interior - really cozy like New England should be!

sadly, the restaurant was closed the 2 days we were there! If it had been open, it would have been a 10 all around. Be sure to check, in case you wish to eat there as the restaurant looks lovely.

Location was great, walking distance to where we wanted to go. The outside in the back was calming and beautiful. Rooms are spaced out where you can’t hear much

Cozy typical NH Inn. The outside yard and gardens are impressive.

Was a little musty. Would have been nice if had been aired out before arrival.

    Location

Late notice that hotel was closed on check in day. No staff at either check in or check out. Very noisy air-conditioning with broken regulator knob. Uneven bare floorboards. No plugs for bath or basin. Broken light switch. No breakfast availability.Room was dark, too small for a couple and had too many awkward angles. Only 1 bedside light. No wardrobe and only 3 hooks to hang clothes.

The property was close to where we were visiting and good value for the price. The grounds were beautifully landscaped and the staff we spoke with were very pleasant.

The stairs to the second floor room were a bit steep and the bed was quite hard.
