Window mounted air conditioner was loud. Had trouble with t.v. - staff helped rectify the problem promptly.

What a lovely place. Our rooms were beautiful and very comfortable. Linens were luxurious and cozy, slept very well. The breakfast served every morning was so delicious. The evening treats were so tempting and tasty!

The main bed was a little too hard and the fold-out couch mattress was too flimsy. The room in the photo when OI booked had a single bed with an iron bedstead not a foldout couch. There was a lot of street noise and construction noise outside the window.

Charming, friendly no-nonsense place. I liked the absence of a TV in the room.

There’s nothing not to like. We loved it!

The William Henry miller Inn was absolutely amazing. It’s a beautiful property in a great location, not far from downtown Ithaca. It is beautifully decorated with an old world charm. Each room is exquisite. We woke up to the smell of great breakfast being prepared each morning and they went out of their way to ensure that our special dietary needs were very well met. We felt welcome , cared for and at home during our stay

Beds are a personal choice. The mattress for us not comfortable.

Excellent location. The common areas were great to have take out dinner, play games or read a book. They are spacious and plenty so you can have privacy. The hosts were amazing. The parking on site, when available, is great.

    Not one single thing

Wonderful room, snacks and breakfast. Just a short walk from the State Theater. There was a Halloween ghost walk in the neighborhood with ghosts that haunted the corner where the bnb was located. Perfectly topped off with an Indigo Girls concert. Great date night.

TV was a little small making it harder to adjust volume as we didn't want to disturb any of the other guest.

House and rooms were beautiful and clean. Great breakfast.

The sofa bed in the second room was not comfortable and unfortunately did not offer a good nights sleep. The pull out bed however was fine.

We stayed in the Garner Suite which was lovely. Location is super central to The Commons which is only a couple of minutes on foot. Linen and bathroom were clean and the host had very kindly accommodated our last minute request for a pull-out bed. The room had everything you could want including a good coffee maker, air-con and hairdryer. The main bed was very generous in size, very comfortable and offered a great nights sleep. The afternoon tea cookies and coffee are a lovely touch and it was great to check-in just after 3pm and have a cup of tea with a sweet treat in the living room area. Breakfast of fresh fruit, orange juice, frittata, slice of ham and fried potatoes was fantastic but the stand-out were the freshly made waffles with syrup.

Being close to the centre of Ithaca, there was some traffic noise at night but this did die down later on. Also parking on site is limited and on street parking is only available after 6pm and at weekends. This is not a major issue but requires some planning or luck with parking spaces.

This is a wonderfully preserved period property in the heart of Ithaca around a 10 min walk from the Ithaca Commons area where most of the pubs and restaurants are. It is further away from Ithaca College (where my daughter is a student, which was the reason for my visit) about a 30 min walk or a 10 min drive. Limited parking was readily available on site. The room I stayed in was spacious and very clean as well as preserving many original features. Breakfast is served between 8 and 10 with coffee available from 7.15. Complimentary cakes are available in the afternoon. The staff were excellent and service top notch.

This inn is a beautif old victorian home! At night, I could hear the TV in the next room, which is fine. Just know going in to it that this is the nature of it.

The communication from this property was excellent. My room was large and comfortable, and the bathroom was recently refurbished. The propietor was very congenial and the breakfast was the best I’ve had in years!
