We couldn't review the pool because it wasn't open during our stay, due to maintenance. But that was not a problem for us. There really wasn't anything about our stay here that we didn't like!

The rooms were very clean and spacious. The beds were comfortable. The breakfast was very good, had a variety of hot and cold items, well organized, spacious breakfast area. The staff was courteous and helpful. My own blow dryer wasn't working while we were here, so it was very convenient that the hotel supplies one for guests to use. We will definitely stay here again when we come to Winchester to visit family at SU.

Housekeeping didn’t come in and clean, provide linens, take out trash, etc. even after asking front desk. We needed new towels and they told me I needed to put the dirty ones on the floor outside the door on the floor in the morning and new ones would be given to us. In what world do I want to go on vacation and have to clean up like I do at home? We aren’t messy people, we just needed new towels and bedding, trash cans emptied. Wouldn’t recommend staying here. Our stay was 3 nights. At the front desk they have a sign that with “extended stays, housekeeping comes once a week”. This wasn’t said to me when I booked, after I booked, or when I arrived. Not everyone has time to look around the entire facility upon arrival to read all written signs. If I had known this I wouldn’t have stayed here. Breakfast was also not good. Frozen breakfast sandwiches, the only fresh thing was biscuits and gravy and apples. I never leave reviews because I’m not very particular, but this was just a bad experience. The beds weren’t attached to the headboard and on metal frames that just slid across the floor anytime we would get on them.

Not much I did like. Well controlled temp in the room was nice. Enjoyed being able to keep it as cool as we needed to.

The pool wasn't in operation, person at the desk barely talked and the breakfast sandwiches for breakfast that you have to microwave yourself.

The the man who works at the front desk I guess it's a man but they were dressed like a female but I heard from another staff member that it's a man that just likes to wear dresses apparently I don't know but I don't care what they do that's irrelevant the point is they're rude as all get out and I will never stay there again they put us in the worst room where the doors were banging people were in and out it was just awful. We couldn't even sleep. One of the worst stays ever. I could've went to one of those cheap hotels and had a better time. Another we incurred was having to pay a $250 deposit. The prices on Booking.com weren't honored by the hotel either nor was we made aware of the deposit until arriving to check in. Oh and the one awesome staff member told us the staff member who was very rude to us is also rude to everyone. Many complaints are made about that staff member but nothing is done due to that being the only person who will work the overnight shift. I absolutely cannot recommend this place.

I like the location and the indoor pool looked nice even though we didn't get to use it. Because 6 We felt judged as soon as we checked in so at that point I didn't really want to leave my room because the one staff person at the front desk was so rude and judgmental.

Got 2 bed room double beds . One was good the other was very worn and uncomfortable. Room was second floor right over lobby 207 Noise all evening and then early morning Cut foot on broken ladder in pool. Which I informed them it was broken 2 weeks before when I stayed there. Second bed was right up against ac and blew right on us all night. Staff was not as friendly as in past stays( maybe a bad day)

the shower floor was very slippery. as a 65 year old I had to make sure I had something to hold on to so I didn’t slip and fall

we had a king room. loved having the sofa and sitting area as we met friends there for the weekend and it was nice to be able to sit in chairs and a sofa to talk instead of having to sit on beds

We do not fill out social network complaints. We are highly disappointed with the breakfast service we had today. Jimmy Dean sandwiches, non refrigerated prepackaged fruit cocktail, 3 types inferior prepackaged baked goods, 2 forms of yogurt and coffee. That was it. No orange juice, no cold or hot cereal options. No toast , no bagels, no jelly no butter, no waffles, no eggs, no meat product, no fresh hot breakfast items. We were at the fiber fest and talked with other vendors and discovered that 4 other local hotels, to include Marriott, Hampton Inn and Quality Inn all had those options. We shared our concerns with front desk this evening and cited supply chain issues. An excuse maybe valid a year ago, not today. Appalled. We expect some credit to our credit card. A response appreciatesd. If no response we will seek some other method of sharing our deep concern with your home office. We were lenient thru Covid and expectations on your service per your website were " bait and switch" at best. Susan Hendee

I wasn't aware it was a "dog friendly " hotel. I'm petrified of dogs, regardless of size. So when I went to get off the elevator as the door opens, I almost had a panic attack as there stood a big dog. Not good. If I was notified something about this, I missed it. Girl at front desk confirmed the policy. Didn't help me!! I won't be back.

The breakfast was not the best. We were able to get hot coffee, a packaged muffin, and yogurt. some fresh fruit would be an added bonus.

We normally stay at a different hotel, but noticed last time that this one was closer to the restaurant we like to dine at. we checked the prices and it was much cheaper and the facility was much nicer. The rooms were comfortable and clean. There was lots of hot water, great pressure. The bed and pillows were great.

For what this is, which is a motel for folks on the I81 corridor, it was a great deal and a great location, right next to a couple decent (for rural VA) restaurants and a mall. Also, it is a new hotel as far as I can tell, the rooms and lobby were great for the price.

Breakfast time should be extended one more hour for guest who are traveling leisurely.

We brought our dog with us. The room was perfect for her as the floor was not carpet. It could be cleaned and sanitized between pet guests. Therefore there was not a scent that another animal had been in the room. I would like to see this in all pet friendly hotels, motels, etc. It can be cleaned
