Had a 50 dollar fee that I was not made aware of before arrival. There was no shower curtain, when we asked for one, it was given to us to be put up. Room was cool but did not get as cool as we like it to sleep.

Didn't like the staff. They weren't very nice to us and 2 were sort of rude The young man first. When I asked about the drive up parking at the front to remove our luggage. The question I asked him was is it ok to pull up there because there were people standing in the driveway. The guy clerk said. What do you think it's there for? Could have been nicer. The clerk Tammy also was rude when I came downstairs to the lobby to let them know we didn't have any dirty laundry disposal bags in our room, she may have been annoyed by me for disturbing her because she appeared to be on her phone... I asked for the bag and.she rolled her eyes and made me feel uncomfortable and handed me a garbage bag.

I did not like the in-room Wi-Fi. It was a bit spotty and the delivery of service for the TV was a little frustrating. I probably needed to go to sleep anyway (HA! HA!)

I was grateful that I was able to secure a reservation at the last minute. I was informed about business training and was quite concerned about whether I would be able to secure lodging at a decent and safe location. Wingate (this location) really came to my rescue. I was greeted and the accommodations were clean, safe, perfect, and pet free. I had a peaceful rest and awoke to a delicious variety of breakfast food. I am a Southerner and really appreciated a full-course breakfast. The parking was well lit and off the main thoroughfare which added a more secure feeling to the surroundings. The parking was free (Thank You). I enjoyed the nearby shopping in the area and the eateries provided a diverse opportunity to try new, affordable, cuisine. I loved this experience. I wish I could have stayed a little longer. I loved that the cleaning staff replaced toiletries and used towels daily. Thanks for choosing a great brand (DOVE).

Had a Tornado alert while we were staying. Staff had no training on what to do. Left people in upstairs rooms, let people outside. If it had hit the hotel it would have ended badly

What I did like about the property was that it was very clean, and the complimentary breakfast was a nice touch. The rest of the staff members were always very helpful and accommodating, which I truly appreciated. The location is also a big plus, with easy access to a variety of food options and nearby shopping. Overall, while the check-in experience could have been smoother, there were many positives about my stay.

I recently stayed a couple days and while the accommodations were satisfactory, I had a frustrating experience at check-in. I attempted to use PayPal as my payment method, but the front desk clerk was not very helpful in explaining why it couldn’t be accepted or offering alternatives. Unfortunately, I didn’t have a credit card or bank debit card with me, so I had to go through the hassle of figuring out how to get cash. It would be incredibly helpful if the hotel clearly stated on its website or booking platforms that payment options like PayPal, Venmo, or similar services are not accepted. This transparency could save future guests from unnecessary stress and inconvenience at check-in.
