The sheets did not fit the bed, the common room and hallways smelled like fish and garbage every day and we stayed for 8 days. The staff was not helpful

Two ridiculous conversations/arguments with Linda, one of the front desk managers, every time, I extended my weekly stays I left because of her. She made numerous excuses, for why she didn't, check on the problem, that is highly illegal. I live in hotels in Colorado Springs. The hotel, lost precious revenues, because of her. She clearly, had absolutely no interest to check about the problem. She told me, this hotel, is charging hotel guests, $2.00 per day for linens, added to the rate quoted me, by Booking com, after I arrived at the hotel. I am a Booking.com, level 3 Diamond 💎 member, and I have been in the hotel industry, since 1965, and I am currently starting, my own 18-22 hospitality and tourism projects, in 7 countries. A conversation I had with customer service at Booking.com, agreed 💯% with me.

It was clean, bed, was comfortable, nice towels, quick hot water, nice size room. Great kitchen arrangement.

I have been here 2, full weeks. Today, when I extended another week, I was told for the first time, the hotel charges for fresh linens. All the guests have to do, is request fresh linens. I never changed any linens in 2 weeks, because I was never told, I was being charged for it, and all I had to do, was request new ones.

Not sure why this place had such low ratings. My room was clean and I didn't have any issues with other guests or the staff. The internet was fine, I did a couple zoom meetings for work and watched Netflix with no issues. Something to keep in mind is most of this place is self-service, and you take care of your own trash, ask for bedding to be washed, etc. I didn't mind this at all. If you are looking for those things to be done for you, spend the extra money. I think for the price this was a great place to stay, especially for extended trips.

There was a couple with children smoking the green in a room down from us. The person in the next room was beating on something ( sounded like beating on a counter top for approximately 1.5 hours at 9pm )

Hairdryer only available if asked for it, bare cupboards (no utensils, pots,etc- they're available for purchase), not very soundproofed, hot water for shower limited in evenings- turned cold quickly, no coffeemaker; got charged extra for linens; its an extended stay which i didn't realize when i booked

Everything that you had to do or they charged you for it. Example: Take all the trash out to the dumpster.

Everything was nice. The only complaint I have is everything you had to do which is what housekeeping should do especially for the price I paid.

Bathroom light motion detector caused light to turn off every minute and large motions required to keep light on. The sink in the main room was hard to use because of low shelf. No mirror outside of bathroom.

No key cards issued due to computer system being down. internet was very slow. Hairs were left on our clean towels and the coffee station was pathetic. the front desk actually closed down so if you needed anything during the night you had to call the hotel.
