The door didn't secure easily, people hanging around all hours hustling people for $$. Stench of weed smoking all over. Staff attempted to charge me $36 then $96 locking my room and asking me argue . I paid 3rd party in full in advance. Seems like they try and see if the customer will pay 🤔 i had to buy bug spray myself as the staff refused to get their spray and kill a cricket that was keeping me up two nights in a row. I finally got rid of it after 3 nights of not stop high pitched chirping. The floor in the room was so dirty and full of black curly hair all over everything. So I had to go buy own swifter to mop and clean the room. Bad smell. Not ideal at all

The morning made me feel rushed to check out before 11:00am. Plus an another visitor came to my door about 9:58 am saying the front desk gave her a key to my room for her stay. Making me feel more rush to leave the room before check out.

The door to the room slammed so hard...,if someone got a hand caught there would have been serious injury. There were several employees on the elevator with me, numerous times and different days, they were all speaking badly about work, other employees, and just ugly in general. Very "ghetto" employees. Disappointing to hear them speaking like that, including vulgar language in front of my 7 year old.

I was missing a top on my door, Causing me to put a chair next to the door.

The Convenience to the ballpark. I also like the fact that we have a full size refrigerator and a small kitchen at in the room.

The elevator was broken. Nobody came to clean the rooms, offer new bedding, replace toilet paper or anything. When I checked in there were no towels in the room. When I asked for some I was told there weren’t any clean towels. Had to keep checking with the front desk the next morning after being told to keep going back to check if they were ready. The TV didn’t work. Saw a couple roaches. The back door that is supposed to be key accessible was broken and stayed open the entire time.

Cigarette burns on the sheets, no kitchen items supplied, no TV remote in room (cable never worked), fridge compressor super noisy. Booked a handicap accessible room, but none were available when we arrived. Husband is an amputee and they put us on the 4th floor. Not great in case of a fire.

My room was right next to the exit and the door slammed all night long. I was not able to sleep. The office closes at 8 and it’s almost impossible to ahold of someone. The bed was hard and uncomfortable.

Honestly the woman at the front desk was the only positive experience.

The room was not clean, the linen on the bed was not clean, piles of trash in the hallway by the elevator,the elevator was not clean, the bathroom was not clean, loud noise like some people was fighting in the room next to me and couldn’t sleep for Loud music playing. I checked out before the office opened.Love Lake Charles like a 2nd to me but will not be come back to this property

More than half the hotel was filled with residents that live there. The girl across the hall from me was in an out every 20 minutes slamming the door until the middle of the night. I didn’t feel safe being a single female there.
