Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United StatesI was under the impression that it was a full kitchen but the stove top was for warming purposes only. Which was pointless for us.
I like that there is a full size fridge and freezer in the room. As well as free washing and drying.

United StatesThe bed was so hard, I woke up in so much pain. There wasn’t enough towels to take up to room the first night. There was only 2 pillows and the pillow covers smelled bad and looked stained but when we asked for more pillows we were told they didn’t have any. Also the big towel that was given to shower smelled like Cheetos, it was pretty bad we couldn’t use it!
I like that there was no carpet in the room. The staff were really nice, the overall hotel seemed pretty clean. I just wished they had breakfast but I loved that my room had a stove and large fridge. One thing liked was the laundry area to wash.

United StatesThere was constant noise. People were playing loud music in the parking lot and the toilet made a constant thumping noise. The beds were very cheap and uncomfortable. Pictures made the room look more modern than they actually were
I felt really safe as you have to have a key to even get past the lobby. The rooms were pretty clean but the floor was a bit sticky.

United StatesThey have very cheap rates for weekly and monthly rental ($24.95) . The tenants were a little rough looking but friendly. Starting about 8:30 pm we could hear a gathering of about 15 to 20 people. They sounded friendly and nothing sounded out of line at all. We were a little apprehensive and anxious but at 11:30 it got quiet. The no refund policy was a little strange and the first room they assigned was all tore up and the refrigerator was in front of the door. The second room was clean and good.
It looks new on the outside. And it is in a location that looks safe and away from everything else.

United StatesElevators out of service and no internet for days they said. I needed to do school work and had an exam scheduled the next morning and the hotel advertised free wifi which I was depending on for my exam during my stay. They did not tell us there was no internet due to recent storms until I called downstairs to ask why I couldn't connect. We also was on the 3rd floor with our kids and elevators out of service. Honestly, at least a small discount on our stay would have been nice as a show of effort on their part for all of the inconvenience. The area was horrible, but that's not their fault... just know people sit in the parking spots all night long drinking and doing all kinds of stuff... couldn't even park and they didn't even try to move... not really secure feeling with our children.
Bed was comfortable and room was clean

United StatesThe elevator was broken because of the tornado so I know it wasn't anyone's fault but it was very hard for my mother to climb the stairs she does not climb well she has really bad legs and she's 75 years old. The rooms were dirty when we got there and when my daughter asked them to clean it they were not happy about it however they did do it. Overall, not accommodating and not clean.
I like the location it was close to my relative.

United StatesEntry doors not secured by keycard. The doors were either broken not latching at all or they were propped open via rug. The homeless population is large in this area with unsecured doors. The beds are absolutely terrible, you can feel the metal bed frame. The pillows are terrible. They have 2 thin pillows per queen bed. There is a moisture issue in the room. The refrigerator has water standing on the shelves and random water spots on the floor throughout the room. Every paper item in the room feels damp. The moisture in the room makes the floors feel disgusting. I don’t understand booking a room for four adults and only supplying 2 towels and 1 rag. Are we supposed to share? There is a lot of noise at night from the parking lot and hallway. We had random knocking on our door throughout the night. Yelling in the hall and parking lot throughout the night. It literally sounded like someone was dragging a metal tine tiller down the concrete at 1am. Now, with all this said, I did not realize this was an extended stay motel when I booked it. This is on me. I was literally looking for the cheapest hotel with the doors on the inside that I could find. And this fits that criteria. Extended stay means you usually have your own stuff like pillows and towels. I think they have a fairly high number of full time people living here.
It is conveniently located. Basically 10 minutes to everything in Lafayette. It is very easy to get in and out of and considering the amount of traffic Lafayette has that is really saying something. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. The lobby and hallways are kept very clean.

MexicoIt was a nightmare, overall! They don't clean!! We spent 10 days and they DID NOT clean the room once! They said they only clean after being there for 2 weeks! It's advertised as a hotel, but they treat you as if it was an apartment, they don't clean the rooms, they don't give you fresh linens and towels, you need to request them in the only give them out on a very limited timeframe. we needed to take out our own trash ourselves!!! Then go down the elevator with it and then walk all the way to a big trash container out back. Also, the customer service was terrible, they barely even answer your questions, they were almost never there. They didn't even give you toilet paper, we had to buy it ourselves!! if you value your money, don't stay here because it wasn't even that cheap it had regular hotel prices.

United StatesThe location was off the main path but for the price it was ok. The property is primarily a suite hotel converted to an extended stay. We knew that but the place reeked of smoke. There were signs everywhere but obviously some clientele didn’t care. In fact, by the elevator/laundry a guy held open the door to the outside while smoking.
The price and value were the best we’ve ever seen. The room was like a suite meets a dorm room but - pictures were accurate.

United StatesThe property have some very scratchy activities all times of the day. There was many people who appeared to be on drug walking around the property. I even saw one couple checking to see if the hotels side door was unlocked. Guess what? The back door never locks and it’s easy access to anyone off the street. That was one of the biggest issues. There’s many more issues but I’ll stop there.
