Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

People were drunk in the pool area and had open containers from the bar in the hottub. Weird location too. Close to zoo and mall but in a dark business area

Pool was green. Like neon green water. I was too freaked out to get in. Doors to pool room were cracked and rusted so bad the pool door wouldn't open. Like a literal tetanus warning kind of situation.
Staff was amazingly nice and cut couch for doggie was very welcome. Found one dog hair on bed but oh well.

We did not get a handicap accessible room with a roll in shower which is the room we reserved. My son could not get into the bathroom in his wheelchair. The front desk was not willing to be accommodating in anyway.
It was in a good location. The rooms were clean and nice.

It's not that I didn't like anything, it just seemed like the hotel is a 'work in progress'. In my opinion, I think the hotel has all the amenities one would need for their stay, it just seems like it is working toward the 'look' of excellence.
The staff was wonderful!!! They were always pleasant and helpful. Any time we had questions, they were answered and professional.

Did not like how noisy it was at night when several men sitting at the bar (as it was directly outside of our room).-- The room itself was ok but really needs refreshing/upgrading. No liquid soap dispensers in shower, given one tiny bar soap. Also light burned out in front of closet/dressing area. -- Keurig coffee maker was not working.-- Have stayed at much nicer hotels for the same price, expected better amenities. Will not stay here again.
Liked the comfortable bed & powerful AC. Also liked the good food & exceptional service in the restaurant.

When I was about to take a bubble bath, you could tell the bathtub was dirty and not scrubbed correctly because it turned my bubbles into brown dirt so I just took a shower instead. But this is still my favorite hotel 🏨🛍️

Some amenities seemed thrown together, and not developed with intention. The breakfast buffet was just thrown together, and staged rather cheaply in the bar. Definitely a disappointment for 140/night.

Hallway floors need to be clean especially around the exits. the parking lot had a lot of trash broken glass. Did not see any security guards motivating on the property.

noise level from the bar area . our room was right next to the dining room/bar area and people were very loud even after 11pm when the bar closed and quiet hours were in effect- staff didnt do anything about it. pool area had a lot of screaming kids who were jumping and diving in the pool - very unsafe. a girl skinned her knee yet her mother was busy yakking away on her cell. there needs to be staff in the pool area because people do not watch their kids and its dangerous. staff need to be present to enforce pool safety and noise levels. i paid extra for breakfast on my reservation yet staff did not check guests to see if they had breakfast vouchers or their reservation to see if they had breakfast added. so im sure some people who did not pay ate breakfast for free. i felt pretty put out about that.
the room was confortable, check in was easy. the dining room area was nicely decorated.

No free breakfast. Room received was not what I had booked. There were some things in room that were not clean. Would not give 1 extra pillow for room that had pull out bed because they are to busy. The poor ladies at the breakfast area/bar were over loaded and needed help.
