The unusual broken parts as mentioned above

We loved the location, the size and quality of the rooms. Loved the fireplace. The only strange thing was every once in a while you notice a broker or poor quality piece. For example one toilet seat was all scratched which was strange in a brand new bathroom. The handle for the oven drawer was missing. Otherwise everything looked brand new.

We think it is grossly unfair that Club Wyndham Newport Onshore has a policy that they can CANCEL a reservation, even when credit card is charged a few days before arriving. Last year our reservation was cancelled on the DAY OF ARRIVAL. When we questioned the cancellation at the office, we were told that this is a timeshare property, and the only way to avoid cancellation is to join the Club, prepay for points, and book through the Club. VERY DISCONCERTING!!! We lucked out this year and were able to complete our stay. The accommodations and location are amazing! Fortunately, any alternative booking agent, such as Booking.com, will guarantee same price at a different hotel suggested by them on their own website, however the accommodations are not at all equal to Onshore.

The pool area was a bit small and the gym equipment was not functioning properly.

I loved the spacious suite. I was not expecting a full kitchen with everything including dishes. The suite was clean and comfortable. I can't wait to book next year's stat.

The place is in a good location. the suite was nice and big. The kids had a good time in the pool. This is really off season for this place so not too many people. We got a parking spot right in front of the door.

The room temperature did not go up so the nights were quite cold. It would be great if we can get some thicker blankets as additional layers

Such a great place to stay in Newport. Loved the private parking because we had to carry a lot of luggages. Will definitely be back for more stays.

The lighting in the room could definitely have been brighter; it was very difficult to iron our clothing. The cleaning person was outside our door at 9 a.m. while we were gathering our bags to leave, and there wasn't much space for both our luggage cart and her cart of cleaning products. We had to move aside so she could place her cart in the stairwell. Otherwise, our stay was great and we will be back.

My only suggestion would be that the place could use a freshening up.

The place was very convenient to downtown Newport and the staff was great. We were there for Christmas and were able to get a later checkout which helped us out since most things wee closed on Christmas Day. Would definitely go back again.

When we arrived, we were told our reservation had been canceled and we were to have been notified 24 hours before. Payment taken, no call, no reservation. Joe Rosario and Jarneya went above and beyond finding us another room with the same accommodations. I cannot say enough how happy I am with the both of them. Christmas with the family was a success! Thank you both should you see this. Merry Christmas 🎅

The only negative is that there isn’t someone in the lobby 24 hours. If you need something you have to call the sister property.

The property was centrally located. It was a big apartment enough space for my family and we weren’t cramped. I loved the two balconies. The fireplace made the living room feel cozy. They had a free craft on Saturday and at checkin there was a cocktail hour. The view of the water was so calming.

Good clean apt on the water. Apt was warm and had loads of space for everyone. Bonus wash the washer and dryer because we were getting low on clean clothes.

I can't say that anything negative comes to mind.

Wyndham Newport Onshore has a great staff of professional, caring, and informative personnel. The front desk was more than helpful, answered all of the questions we had regarding our stay. The maintenance staff was also very helpful in addressing our questions. Upon entering the suite, we were very happy with our choice of stay at Wyndham Onshore. The contemporary furnishing were modern and in excellent condition. Location is center stage on Thames Street.
