We arrived later than normal around 9pm and the receptionist was very friendly and helpful. She gave us good instructions on how to reach our room, good suggestions on dinner and breakfast and even helped us with our bags. The room was very pretty and clean. Well decorated! There is a restaurant attached to the hotel called Peggy's on the Green which was fabulous for dinner. Location of the hotel is great for walking to main street or the Cibolo creek walking trail.

Everything was perfect. Just needed a room for one night while traveling. The Kendall came up on booking. Didn't have a clue how wonderful the place would be. Already planning to visit when we can spend more time.

This was situational, but we stayed in a regular room- 2 queens by the pool. This was a connecting room that we weren’t using g as such. We could hear our neighbors as if they were in our room. Full, clear conversations. We turned up the television so that they couldn’t hear us or we couldn’t hear them. Unfortunately, our neighbors stayed up talking until 2:30am.

Gorgeous historic hotel in the heart of boerne. Love the layout of the cabins and suites, the history of the hotel, and the furnishings. Very elegant and special.

Pool wasn’t as clean and a vacuum & net was left on the pool our entire stay. We didn’t use because of that.

The window AC units are a little noisy but I don’t know any hotel with rooms under $400 nt that doesn’t have noisy AC.

The Kendall is a beautifully kept historic property with so much charm. The owners have kept it true to its history yet have nicely updated modern bathrooms. Location is the best, right across from the town square and restaurants. The staff is very helpful and friendly. If you want to really experience Boerne this is the place to stay.

Our room, The Texan, had an annoying barn door which was difficult to maneuver. Toilet paper was cheap, one ply. For the price of the room, should have better quality toilet paper. Would be nice to have a small fridge and microwave however it does have a wine chiller so that was useful. The tub was cute but hot water didn’t work and tub isn’t comfortable. Would have preferred a better functioning tub.

The Texan was very roomy and comfortable. The whole place was very quiet and relaxing. Landscaping was beautiful and there were many areas to sit and relax and were under canopies of the trees so plenty of shady areas.

The room took a while to cool down. It was a sweltering summer day and we didn’t check in until 10 pm so the ac unit had been up at 75 until we got to the room and turned it down and since it faces the opposite side of the room as the bed, it took quite a while before it was comfortably cool.

Desk staff was especially friendly and helpful the whole stay. When we got there the evening clerk walked us to our room, in the middle of the night the night clerk got me Gatorade for my daughter when I had concerns about the water, and in the morning the morning clerk followed up with me about the water incident just to make sure I felt assured it was addressed.

We loved our stay at the Kendall, the rooms are unique, clean and beautifully designed. The location is perfect to walk to the restaurants/shops and enjoy the river. The staff are friendly and accommodating, we were also given a private tour of some of the other rooms by chance.

Absolutely no complaints. Any minor issues we experienced regarding travel hiccups were easily resolved by the nice staff.

The staff were so welcoming and lovely. All the buildings are gorgeous and historic and really just such a great way to experience Texas!
