How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

if looking for a nice place to would not recommend. It serveed our purpose of a bed to sleep in. Knew we were not going to be there long. Staff very nice . room for most part ok. One bed comfy other bed squeeky and not comfy. For me was the smell. Not sure what it was. Stale smoke covered up???? Dont really want to give a bad review was not looking for a luxurious hotel.

there were people arguing and roaming the property all hours, the smell of marijuana everywhere. But it was affordable
Bed was comfy, bathroom ok, toilet kept running, had to jiggle the handle, "room service" food delivery options were nice.

Noticed the building inside needs updated and repairs are needed in the bathroom.
The location was great. Bed was really comfortable. For the price compared to other hotels around the area, of course you get what you pay for but overall, it was ok.

I could of fell in the bathroom and seriously hurt myself . My bf is in construction.. that bathroom was done wrong the tub wasn't placed right water damage felt like a water bed and there was and awful smell comin from the bathroom drain ..

You should have more than one ice machine. We had to search for the thing if we didn’t run into the worker we wouldn’t have found it. You should have at least 2

The rooms were not very clean. Very old bathroom and strange smell on the hallway and noisy.
This motel is very well located near the highway and the fantastic Round The Clock Diner.

NO daily maid service!! You had to go to the office and get clean towels. Strange odor in the hallway? Outside of the motel was quite dirty a lot of litter around.

The one queen bed was dirty. Housekeeping did not change anything in that bed. The front desk hostess Michelle tried to get a hold of housekeeping they would not answer. Michelle came to our room and changed out the bedding.
Cheap rates for a one night lay over. The room was nice. Our front desk hostess Michelle was amazing when we had an issue with the room.

Outside looked trashy & hotel has a bad reputation for drugs Did not get the room we booked, we got 2 double bed room.
They were upgrading the whole hotel, over all it was ok, we drove a fire truck and we parked it at another hotel due to safety concerns. Lot of people living there full time.

No heat the first night. Bathroom was dirty. Remote didn’t work—couldn’t change channels. Bed was not comfortable. I have a bad knee and ask for a first floor room. Person at the desk said the top floors are better and only a few steps to climb There was 16 steps to second floor. Had to climb those steps 5 times.

The outside of the hotel was so dirty and nasty. They really need to clean up out there. Cigarette butts and trash everywhere it made it look ugly and very uninviting. I requested to see the room before I decided to stay. It was one of those things don’t judge a book by its cover. But I almost passed by it because of the outside. They need to have an exterior clean up once or twice a week. I would give it a 2 for the outside. Wish I took some pictures of outside to share. It was terrible

The guests were loud and dogs barking! As well as it felt unsafe to bring a family.
