Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaThe staff was extremely helpful in checking us in early in the morning as our flight was delayed. It took a little while to adjust to the light switches as the hotel is very modern. The monsoon shower head was excellent and relaxing. Enough room to do stretching which was nice. We also appreciated the ice/water dispenser near by.

SpainThe shower curtains didn’t cover the full shower so the whole bathroom floor got wet. Also since it was in the corner, we could hear a lot of noise from the street but using the curtains that close out the bathroom door worked to get rid of the noise.
Very well located in the south area and really comfortable room. Gorgeous views too.

GermanyThe lights were weird and there was no good light in the toilet mirror. The location is ok, but you have to walk quite a bit for main attractions. I would expect a little more for the price but for Boston was quite affordable.
The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom spacious. You could also open the window to ventilate, what I enjoy. There was a water and ice dispenser in the hallway, very practical for refilling my bottle.

United KingdomDo not stay road side. Beeping car horns and sirens all night - 2am club/pub kick out opposite. All 3 nights awoken at 2am with road noise and then struggled to sleep again. Very loud air con unit banged through night Curtain to cover bathroom
Good price for central location Clean and tidy Deck 12 - good city views for an evening drink Room not as small as was expecting could keep bed flat all the time - but added bonus you could fold away for even more space.

United KingdomWe were disappointed to find that for £300 a night, breakfast was not included in our stay, so had to go elsewhere which was quite expensive being in the city. The only lights in the bedroom were an LED switch, however the bathroom had proper lighting. Toilet lacked privacy, with only a shower curtain separating the bedroom and bathroom, making it feel alittle like you were in a hospital ward. Rooms lack luxurious feeling which was disappointing for almost £300 a night.
Amazing location, just a few minutes walk from main attractions. Stay were extremely friendly and attentive. Easy virtual check-in and check-out, We were able to keep our bags there after departure. Hotel was clean. Seemed cheaper than other central hotels. Bed could be adjusted up-and-down. Colour changing LED lights in the bedroom.

United KingdomBeing located on a lower floor and at the back means you hear every delivery truck and trash collection. The room (309) is also near an emergency stair case, which staff use, so you hear the door open and close from early in the morning.
The hotel was clean and covenantally located near the Courthouse Silver Line T stop. It was also easy to walk to North End and other areas of Boston.

United KingdomVery expensive (was there during marathon weekend so guess it was the going rate) Due to being online check in you don't hear about the amenities of the hotel - initially had no idea on breakfast/ food/ bar/ rooftop terrace etc. Hotel is missing a trick - if you don't tell your guests what there is, they go elsewhere.
Nice hotel, modern, clean, room was fair size. Nice location, good downstairs bar & also rooftop bar. Quirky bed that turned into a reclined sofa, quite liked it Good bathroom Provided kettle when I asked Nice friendly staff

United States of AmericaDidn’t like how crowded and tight the room was, but it was clean and comfortable so, good enough
Great location, lots of restaurants and things to do in the area. The room was compact, like a cruise ship room, or an IKEA display, but it was clean and convenient. Two people in a room should really be the max.
