Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

SwitzerlandThe bathroom door was a sliding one with a curtain so it didn’t offer much privacy and didn’t close all the way. Also the parking option was valet and got quite expensive. I know that’s to be expected in Boston but would have been nice to have a better deal included.
Location is great to explore the Seaport area which has a lot of food and drink options. The room was small but bed was very comfortable with a nice view of the city.

GermanyHad to return to reception three times during our initial check in as there was a problem with our room's card scanner. It was solved by putting us in a different room.. after half an hour of having us take the elevator up and down... No minibar, room service only through the restaurants within the place instead of the front desk, wherein the meals offered are weirdly "quirky" instead of just kept simple. The rest of the options just consist of booze. The room itself was clean-ish. No major stains but small ones on one of the pillows, and on our mattress. The door to the toilet also didn't seal properly letting a nice faint odor of the previous person's business waft through the room.
The bed was comfortable, amenities were modern. Nice shower. Over all a very cozy vibe inside the room.

United States of AmericaWhen I checked in there was an immediate up charge of $200 for $100 a day in any possible extra charges I could incur. There was no mention of this when I booked and pre paid on 12/8 for my 2-day stay over Christmas. I could not check in unless I did this extortion with you desk clerk, it's childish BS. If I would have had any charges I would pay for them at check out, how normal business would be conducted. Also the $55 valet fee per day is price gauging. Because of this I will not be staying with you again, RIDICULOUS!
Ease of getting to the location in Boston...

IrelandThe room cleaning was very hit and miss despite tips being left for cleaning everybdsy. On arrival there was a previous guests dirty underwear in one of our drawers. The room got a quick clean most days but it certainly wasn't thorough. Admittedly I must point out we did not raise this issue with the front desk. We just dealt with it ourselves.
The room while compact made exceptional use of the space. The location was quiet safe and extremely beautiful to walk around, however, it was a bit out of the centre of Boston. Not necessarily ideal for people on their first visit and looking to see the likes of Boston Common and the Freedom trail. While it can be reached on foot it is a decent walk. That being said there are many other things to do in the Seaport area and we would not discourage people from staying here.

United States of AmericaI did not like the size of the room. The rooms looked bigger in photos. They were so tiny.
I liked everything except for the room. The gym was also amazing I did use it one night. Lastly, the bed was very comfy.

United States of AmericaI stayed at this hotel for a conference about a week. For a single person, the size of the room is ok, but for a couple it will be small (would not worth the money). Water leaks from the bathroom door, which is something you wouldn't expect from a 4* hotel.
Close to both convention center and downtown. Staff was helpful. Both check-in and check-out can be done contactless, but there is staff avaliable to help.

NetherlandsRoom was good for me on my own, but might be too small for 2 people if you both bring bigger suitcases.
Hotel was clean, easy self check in and check out, good wifi and you could stream from your own device to the tv easily! Perfect for a few days of relaxing. Also next to the silverline stop to the airport, so that makes coming there after a long intercontinental flight perfect!

United KingdomUncomfortable beds and loud heating/air conditioning
Great location very easily accessible from the airport and lots of restaurants and shops right next to the hotel. Rooms were cosy but the perfect size for a small break and the rainfall showers were amazing. Rooms were very clean.

United States of AmericaLocation is right next to a nightlife spot so you may hear city noise if that window is open - recommend earplugs. Not a ton of bathroom counter space for toiletries.
Room was cozy, bathroom very clean and has a nice towel warmer. Euro style opening window for fresh air was a first, big bonus. Also liked how the bed becomes a couch-real space saver. You can also control the color of the led lights which is futuristic.

United KingdomNoise the heating system made. Noisy guests on the last day in the corridor outside my room. Perhaps a few discrete signs reminding guests to be courteous of others who might be sleeping, might be a good idea. The rainfall head shower didn't really function, although I didn't need it to be honest. The handheld/cradled shower was good enough.
Friendly, accommodating staff Free coffee early in the morning Big lifts... or elevators as they call them. No sense of claustrophobia. Heating system that warmed the room quickly. Good location in an area I felt totally safe in, even to get some shots of the sunrise from Fan Pier close by. Access to various stores to purchase sundries. Close to the public transportation network for sightseeing. Spacious room as a single traveller. (I thought the folding bed was quite an innovative novelty.) Free WiFi, which functioned well. The gym! LOVED the gym.
