Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaThe breakfast was not good, if you don't get there right when they put it out, all you will get is an orange or apple and some cereal (and coffee/tea). The part of town is not good, LOTS of people actively using drugs and engaging in sketchy behaviors in front of and around the hotel (especially at night there were at least 100 people clustered up on the sidewalk of mission street across from the hotel). But for the most part they did not interact with us and my husband and I felt mostly safe walking together. We ended up ubering around to most of our destinations due to the inconvenience of the parking situation. You will need to use a parking structure (ours cost 35$ per night and was about a half mile away from the entrance of the hotel).
The staff was exceptionally nice and accommodating. The room was very modern and the small size was advertised in the listing. The facilities were very clean and nice looking. Walking distance from city hall where we eloped, and also August Hall where we attended a great concert. Lots of great places to eat very nearby. They let us temporarily park on the side of the hotel to unload and load our luggage.

IsraelThe location is problematic - crowded and doesn't make you feel safe despite the security within the hotel. The Wi-Fi in my room was unstable - I've reported that to the staff - and didn't get a proper solution. The breakfast is OK, can't count that as a breakfast but a snack or two instead. My room was cleaned only once at a 4 nights period.
The gym was great. The room was comfortable. The meeting rooms are super useful for work travelers.

IsraelThe hotel is surrounded by hundreds of homeless individuals, especially in the evening and night, making it unpleasant and even scary to leave after 6-7 pm.

United KingdomThe only thing letting it down is the location, but this is a wider San Francisco issue and really sad. The number of homeless/drug users is insane, this hotel gives a good view of the nightly “walking dead” scene across the road…. It’s not pretty, but the hotel staff are quite pragmatic and advise appropriately, no issues from me despite standing outside smoking from the homeless, they generally stay away from normal people!!
The staff, reception and security were really friendly and approachable and helped with anything needed. Hotel has Breakfast options, decent cereal and muffins along with yogurt with some “crusty” croissants.. but has free coffee machine 24/7. Room spotlessly clean

Switzerlandi still don't understand the weird "pre-authorised" payment. i did a pre-authorised payment when i checked in, but i paid another bill when i checked out. they said the 'pre-authorized' payment would go away in some days, but this short-term duoble pay still eat out my credit card balance. really weird. i thought 'pre-authorised' payment was for adjustment while checking out... actually, they started a new chargement from my credit card when i checked out... really inconvevenient system....

ChileThe room did not have closet. The hotel was missing something to get food there, like a vending machine or something similar. It only served breakfast and at night you could only get something to eat from delivery.
The room was exactly as promoted, efficiently distributed and every seemed brand new. The staff was very helpful. The location was excellent to connect with all city services and at walking distance of shopping malls and touristic sites. It was an excellent choice.

United States of AmericaThe hotel offers convenient access to transportation with the metro and bus stops right outside the door. Additionally, several tourist landmarks are within walking distance, making exploration effortless.
The hotel enjoys a favorable location, yet the presence of numerous homeless individuals outside and the frequent scent of urine while strolling along the street create an uncomfortable atmosphere.

The location of the hotel is central however, a lot of homeless people and drugs addict/dealers. I didn't feel safe at all !

NetherlandsThe breakfast was a bit simple and had limited healthy options. Still good though.
The room was clean, the location was very central, and the staff was friendly. It is true that there are homeless people in the area, but they do not bother or interact with you. Plus, there are public security guards in the area, and the hotel has its own security. There is construction currently going on outside, but I could not hear anything in my room (5th floor, not facing street).

IndiaNot as safe during off office hours. There were many people on the streets. Streets were deserted during off office hours. Police vehicles were doing rounds regularly.
Location is near the public transport for both buses and trains. Taxi was very quick. Could walk to some of the attractions nearby.
