Definitely did not like how hot our room got, even after the sun went down for a little bit.

I like that you are able to park in front of your room, better to keep an eye on your stuff. Very close restaurant.

Check-in was at 4 pm. They had roofers that worked till 6 pm. It sounded like a construction zone in our room for two hours. Imagine being weary after getting up early and driving for hours, looking forward to getting out of the car and just wanting to stretch out and relax...instead we listened to the constant noise. We did call the front desk, but nothing was done. That being said, this will most likely not be the situation for future travelers, as roofs need don't need to be replaced that often.

As for the room, there is not a lot to pick from along the route, you take what you can get. The rooms are dated, think 80's style, but clean for the most part. There is nothing special about the rooms and don't expect amenities. The beds were ok, nothing special. Suffice it to say, it met the need of needing a bed and bathroom for the night.

We did miss a minifridge in the room for storing our fresh foods for the night. Luckily it was not too hot in mid June 2025 and the food survived.

Staff was friendly and check-in was a breeze. Tok was not expected by us to be more than a one night stay, and so we didn't expect any view from our room or high level amenities. The nearby free parking was spacious and the Fast Eddy's Restaurant was a great spot for a healthy (paid) breakfast.

A refrigerator and microwave in room would be beneficial. Also, please provide more shampoo, conditioner, and soap. There was not enough for x2 people. Please remove carpets and replace with laminate wood looking floors. They make a world of difference in decorating cost effectively, cleaning, and hold up longer than dated carpets that hold odor and dirt. Throw away the outdated bedspreads and start using comforters with sheets to assure all bedding is changed between guests

Fast Eddys restaurant is convenient and had good food. Room was clean and comfortable, however needs updating.

Literally the only complaint was that the tv didn’t work

Everything was great parking right outside our door, kids had room to run off energy too! We left very early and just left our keys by the tv.

Very nice clean little motel right in the heart of Tok, AK. Walk across the parking lot to Fast Eddy’s and have some of the best food in Alaska! Great staff, great service, and amazing food. Get the ribs or lasagna!

This was room #1 - The room smelled like urine. - When it rained the bathroom ceiling leaked from the vent fan. When I called and reported it the front desk was very nice but the maintenance guy said "it's an old building" and did nothing. - The only way to cool the room was to leave the window open. Outside the window was a parking lot where semi trucks were idling most of the night.

The shower was nice. It had good hot water and good pressure. The bed was firm without being a board. The restaurant was great with good food and friendly staff. Except for the maintenance guy, the staff was awesome.
